The first phone call I had regarding the *** Wedding was prior to June, Suzanne *** called me and told me that her daughter is getting married in months and they need a new photographer because their photographer canceledI didn’t ask why but that was a red flag and I should have followed my gut thenSuzanne then went on to talk about how the bridal party has different shaped bodies and skin colorsShe asked me if I have had an issue with photographing different skin colors before and I said noShe asked me to send her some examples so I didSuzanne then called me back and hired me for the weddingShe told me after seeing the work I sent her and the work she saw online, that she liked my work and I accepted the jobSuzanne told me that her daughter was on vacation and very busy and Suzanne was in charge of planning the weddingI sent Ketiwe and Suzanne a Wedding Photography Questionnaire, Contract and Invoice on or before June 11, The first time I spoke on the phone with Ketiwe was 10/5/15, her wedding was 10/11/She was very nice, told me she was traveling and was very busy recentlyShe expressed that because of this, her mother planned most of her weddingShe also said she saw my work online and liked what she sawOn my website, it is clearly stated that I am a natural light photographer in my “About Me” sectionIf she didn’t like my work and if she didn’t like that I am a natural light photographer, she did not have to hire meI photographed the *** Wedding on 10/11/I was there for hoursI photographed the wedding as I have any wedding I have ever photographedI documented hours of the dayI photographed in at least different locations with different lighting situations at multiple times of the dayEvery time we left one location to go the other, I always ask if there is any other photograph anyone else wants before we move onIf there was anything missed they had the opportunity to have that resolved on multiple occasionsAfter the wedding Ketiwe was very impatient and rudeI tried to resolve every issue she had but when she said she was going to sue me, I was advised to stop talking to herI am not talking to her or responding to her anymore without a lawyer presentNow, onto Ketiwe’s concerns;First, I am going to address the most offensive and untrue complaint of hers that quite honestly, is the definition of defamation of characterI sent Ketiwe a contract online on Google Drive that she can only comment on and not editShe signed the contract by signing into her email address and then commenting her name into the contractI use Google Drive because it documents everything that happens down to the date and time and shows you what user did itOn November 9th, 3:40pm, I updated proof of paymentI documented in the contract that she paid me the remainder of the balance. I have proof that I didn’t do anything to compromise the contract and I would never do anything of the sortI have the proof and if she would like to take me to court, I will gladly show all of my evidenceOn December 3rd, 2:43pm I signed the contract because I noticed I had not yet done soAgain, it is documented exactly what I typed down to the date and time….stillThe date and times are still up thereI still have the contract and I did nothing to compromise the content of the contract other than signing it and noting paymentEvery time I go into the document and type something in, it emails everyone with access to the document and the email says “there have been changed made to the document”Yes, I put my signature in and documented paymentShe expressed her concern with the email, I told her what I did and I tried to explain to her that she can see the history of the document but she said she couldn’t find the historyI emailed her with directions on where to find the historyIf she can’t find the history at this point, I am convinced she either saw the history and saw that I did nothing, or just refuses to do soKetiwe told me about her concerns with shadows and suit colorsI went back and over edited for her likingAt first, she said thank you but then later, came back with the same complaintI don’t know what else I can do for her except edit a third timeKetiwe has left me several bad reviews - I have screenshots of every reviewThey are on Yelp, Facebook, The Knot (on this website) and now the Revdex.comI have said everything I possible could to KewtieI have tried to resolve every concern she hadIf she didn’t threaten to sue me, I’m sure I would still be trying to resolve her concernsThe only reason why I stopped working with her is because she said she was going to sue meI personally am very proud of the photographs I took at the weddingI have proof of that with my photographs that I still haveI have proof that I didn’t change the contractI have proof that I tried to resolve her issues over the course of two monthsMost couples don’t even get their photos until or months after the weddingKetiwe received hers in one monthI edited them and then re-edited them all over again and gave her extra images within another monthI also have proof that she admittedly altered my copyrighted images and changed them herself, which is illegalIf anything, Ketiwe owes me extra for extra time given, defamation of character and copyright infringementAgain, the reason why I am no longer speaking to Ketiwe is because she threatened to sue meI was advised to no longer have contact with Ketiwe and that is the reason why I am no longer working or responding to herBest, Megan ***

I have been nothing but honest with Ketiwe [redacted] before, during and after her wedding. She had her edited photographs within one month. She called me twice during that time to ask about the progress. For every wedding I photograph, I upload the images to a google drive account that I...

personally create for the couple. I upload the photos to that account as I edit so the couple can see the progress. After she reviewed some of the photographs, she told me she wanted some extra edits, I did them without hesitation. She responded with a "Thank you". At one point, she changed the password to the google drive account I created for her so I could longer sign in. She continued to have extra requests in which I tried to resolve. I even went back through the originals and gave her extra photographs. On 12/5/15 Ketiwe emailed me with her concerns and request for a partial refund. On 12/6/15 I responded addressing every concern she had and told her I was not going to give her a refund. On 12/26/15 she said she was in contact with a lawyer. I came to the conclusion after she started insulting me on a personal level and threatening to sue me, that I could no longer speak to her.Since I have stopped communicating with her in 2015, she has given me bad reviews on multiple social media sites. In some cases, she has left multiple reviews on one site. Some of the sites I am not even a member of and I was told that someone created a page for my business. In her reviews she has accused me and my second photographer of things that simply are not true. I have over 50 5 star reviews because I love my job, care about my customers and am honored to take photographs that will be cherished for generations. I pride myself on having great customer service and I cannot say enough good things about my amazing customers. Ketiwe has every right to her own opinion but at this point, I am done conversing with her and I will let my work speak for itself.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Our contract with Megan included the following photos:- Photo of couple with mother of the bride- Photo of couple with mother of the groom- Photo of couples (bridal party) together- Photo of all the groomsmen together- Photo of all of the bridesmaids togetherI have attached examples of what we were delivered - including some of those that she references in her refusal to provide a partial refund as proof that she 'completed' our contract'. As any one can see, the photos are out of focus, with significant shadows, one individual or both individuals blocked out of photo, poor lighting and not of professional quality. This is just a sampling of the many out of focus photos that we were delivered as final product. For reference - groom's suit was light gray with purple pocket square. Mother of Bride wore a navy (not black as it appears) dress.These were all stated as what we would receive in the contract. However, our contract was altered on November 9 (nearly one month after services were delivered) and again on December 2 as Megan notes in her email (attached).Regardless of Megan's correspondence that she has other positive reviews, she did not complete our wedding in a professional manner, and nothing has been done to rectify that.As Megan notes in her response to the Revdex.com she ceased communication with us in 2015, however, this is because she stopped responding, not because our issue was resolved with any satisfaction - also noted in attached communications.At that point I did complete several bad reviews online. However, the accusation of me completing several reviews is simply not true - I would the vendor should keep in mind how many people are involved in a wedding and just how many people were disappointed by the terrible product delivered.Megan's unprofessionalism continues to show in her defensiveness and unwillingness to offer any monetary compensation for delivering a product not consistent with her advertising or website. Further, she has not issued any apology or acknowledged that disappointment in the product she delivered is warranted.I would urge the Revdex.com to contact this business to provide counseling on general customer service practices as well as how to resolve a customer complaint.
