Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The merchant mistated my complaint. I never communicated to them that the rubber came off too easily, I said only half the rubber was glued, the other half flapping without any evidence of glue.  The racket has never been hit hard, that's just made up stuff. The side tape was lifted so I could take a picture for the merchant of the poor job they did.
The merchant is correct that the rubbers can be re-glued. However the sale was not for a re-glued rubber. It's like charging for a new car and shipping a used one instead.
Regards,

Review: I had bought a ping pong racket from megaspin.net. I reside in Canada and I searched for "Mark V racket" on google. I got megaspin.net as one of the listed website, and so I clicked. I did see that the price was mentioned as $89.95, which I thought was a good price and so I went through the buying process and ended up buying it. The total cost that the website showed me was $100.50. This was fine with me.(shipping cost added). My complain goes as follows: When I looked at my credit card bill, I realized that I was charged $130. It was at this time that I had realized that megaspin.net is based in US and hence I had to pay the currency conversion. My issues are as follows: 1. My invoice says $100.50 and never mentions the currency I was being billed in. It was neither mentioned in their online buying process. It is also not mentioned in my invoice. SO nothing about it!2. I was never informed that the product will be shipped from US. 3. I did not even know that megaspin.net is a US based company.Desired Settlement: Their website should mention the default currency. Also, their website should have been able to inform me that my product will be billed in US dollars and not Canadian dollars. It is their website's duty to inform the consumers about the billing currency before purchase, or tell us upfront that product will be shipped from US and the currency conversion will apply. This is cheating and should be raised among any companies that are currently practicing these.

Review: Ordered a tennis paddle from the vendor. The paddle is coming apart on arrival due to the rubber not having been glued properly.Desired Settlement: new rubber to be installed.

Response:

- The customer complained that the rubber sheet of the ping pong paddle is coming off the wood. This paddle was assembled for the customer by ourselves - this is a free service which we offer to customers (he purchased wood and rubber sheets separately and we assembled it). Table tennis glue is designed so that rubber sheets can easily be removed from the wood and replaced or reglued.- The customer sent us the image telling us that the rubber sheet came off too easily. - The image shows signs of use on the side tape of the paddle. It is clear that the paddle hit a hard surface during play, and this possibly caused the rubber sheet to come off the wood.- We sent the customer a return label so we re-assemble the rubber sheet to the blade at our cost. We are also paying for shipping both way.- The customer is requesting that we send him new rubber sheets. This is not necessary to fix the issue.- We are waiting for the customer to return the paddle using the shipping label we sent him. We also offered to send him free glue and side tape because he said he is capable of gluing the rubber sheet himself.- We are still waiting for a response from the customer.
