This is a townhouse community with very limited parking. The Board of Directors have enforced strict guidelines in their community. The Board of Directors have hired a towing company to enforce these guidelines. MEINC has nothing to do with this
complaint. We do not make the rules. They were set forth in their guidelines long before we came to manage their community. The amount charged for the tow is set forth by the county, which the towing company has to follow. MEINC did not call the towing company to have her towed. The towing company patrols the neighborhood, and homeowners are encouraged to call the towing company if homeowners are parked with their resident parking passes in a visitors parking space. Again this complaint has nothing to do with MEINC

*** *** has been carrying an outstanding balance for over a year. At the end of 2014, there was an outstanding balance of $148.38. A statement was sent at the end of 2014, but that amount was not paid. In 2015, a payment was made for $when the amount due was $93.00,
and in February there was no payment. After that, throughout the year, payments were inconsistent. The late fees are defined by the governing documents set forth by the community, and not our company. These documents were given to every homeowner when they purchased their property. The management's contractual agreement mandates that we follow the governing documents for each community we manage. The management company does not have the liberty to arbitrarily remove late fees. Homeowners must appeal to the Board of Directors to remove late fees, as they are the only source with that authority. Checks are not held by the management company, and homeowners have the ability to make online payments at their convenience to avoid any late payments. *** *** still has the ability to reach out to the Board of Directors.
