I have been a customer of Meineke Mesa #for about yearsThey service both my Dodge Minivan and my husbands Ford Truckyear ago, my van gave up on me on the side of the roadI called Meineke, and not only did they call me a tow-truck, they came and picked me upThe level of customer service I experienced is beyond compareI have recommended them to all of my family and friends and will continue to do so because they take care of me like I am family!

Review: I visited the shop in February where Meineke Complete Car Care #4183 replaced rear shock and replaced brake pads. It was recommended that day to replace both front caliber. That same week I allowed the same shop to replace caliber only to return about squeak that I was hearing. The machanic drove car and an assumed check of vehicle was performed. Nevertheless, three days later the anchor bracket bolt was not connected and brake started to move around while driving. I notice the squeak prior and complained and I had to consume payment for transporting vehicle back to Meineke shop on [redacted]. The shop should paid for transporting vehicle to shop due to neglect as I can not assume a bolt could loosen in three days. I do have pictures as my life could have been LOST as I drive on the freeway daily. The truck was towed to the shop at my expense where it was assumed fixed. However, on 4/13/15 I noticed leak on the left brake as I always check vehicle expesically since brake was not installed correctly the first time. The caliber completely leaks. My vehicle is currently sitting at another Meineke location as I do not want The shop on [redacted] to handle correcting problem. I am left without an vehicle and asked Shop manager on [redacted] if he could provide me with rental. He feels as though it is not his fault that the brake is faulty. His shop purchased the brake to install which I hold that shop responsible as any concerns with supplier is the shops concern. The failure of brakes have jeopardize my life twice as I have many concerns about the quality of brakes installed.Desired Settlement: there is no price for my life as that loose anchor bracket could have allowed that brake to lodge into my wheel while driving and causing death. Additionally, the complete leak of the caliber could have cause failure in brakes leading to my death. There is no price for my life but I would like an total refund as I'm not comfortable with Meineke fixing the brakes and will have to hire another establishiment to check the work.

Upon inspection of the vehicle, we recommended replacing the front brake pads, resurfacing the brake rotors, and replacing front brake calipers. Customer replaced only front brake pads and resurfaced the rotors. The following week, customer came back. We again recommended replacing the front brake calipers which was authorized by customer. Customer towed vehicle to our shop where we made necessary adjustments. Customer noticed a leak from caliper and towed it to another repair facility. We offered to replace the brake parts under warranty. Customer refused to bring the vehicle to our facility so that we could fix the problem.

Review: I had a few services done there at Meineke which have become unsatisfactory for my automobile. First there was an oil change done on the date of 11/22/13 in which my oil light started to come on now and again which they couldn't seem to give me a clear explanation about although I had never experienced this issue until shortly after the oil change.Shortly after I took it into Meineke due to a check engine light, in which the mechanics there suggested a major tune-up. I was informed that the expert there would perform a major diagnostic on my vehicle but instead he took the short cut which as result the major tune-up didn't repair the issue of the check engine light.Again, without a full diagnostic performed it was suggested that it was a coil pack issue, in which I was again charged for more mechanical work to fix the problem of the check engine light. Now here I am only a few months later and my check engine light is back on for about two and a half weeks now.I have paid for a full tune-up which I probably only needed just a regular tune-up but didn't solve the check-engine light issue.I paid for a coil pack repair/replacement which now hasn't solved the issue of the check engine light.I feel that the Full Diagnostic should have been performed as I was told would be done initially but wasn't which should have pinpointed the original source of the check engine light issue and saved me from consuming access cost and possibly unneeded repair.Desired Settlement: I would like either a full refund or the needed complete repair done at the company's expense.

To whom it may concern:

[redacted] visited Meineke #4183 on 3/14/14 at approximately 5:20 pm. He previously visited our shop for an ignition issue (spark plugs and a coil pack due to a misfire in the vehicle). On March 14, 2014, the vehicle came in with a check engine light. The code that resulted was a P0401 exhaust gas recirculation flow insufficient. The exhaust issue is in no way related to the previous ignition issue. In order to diagnose the exhaust system, we would need to run an EGR system diagnostic. [redacted] did not understand why a second charge would be issued. The technician explained to Mr. [redacted] that we would gladly run the diagnostic on the exhaust system to find the underlying problem. Mr. [redacted] declined because he did not want to pay another diagnostic fee. He assumed that the first diagnostic test should have detected this new exhaust code. At the time of the first diagnostic, there was no EGR system problem, and therefore, it was not detected. After explaining this to Mr. Evans, he did not understand why he would have to pay a second diagnostic fee.

Thank you,

Review: I went to Menike on saturday 10/18/2014 to have an Oil change and for them to diagnois and alligment issue. I told the lady at the counter all the issues I was having with my car and she told me that someone will look at the car and let me know what was wrong. and hour late I rcvd a call from [redacted] stating that my tow rods were bad and that was the only reason my car was make the strange noise when I turned he also stated that I needed an aligment and that this would cost abou 243.00. I aksed him is this going to stop the strange noise he stated that yes thats going to fix the problem so I paid the 243.00 and when I drove off my car ran even worst then when I took it in there the nosie still happened and now make a scrathing noise. I came back in the office and [redacted] states that my car is running fine and that I dont know what im talking about. I told him the car was still making the noise and that the car pulls to the right really bad now. he stated that there machines where now off (its was 3:30) and that I would need to come back in on Monday I told him that I work and that im only off on the weekend. So I took off of work on WED and took my car to my car dealership and had the auto shop look at my car and they diagnoised the issue in mins stating that my steering rack was problem and that they had changed my tow rods back in July and that the tow rods didnt have anything to do with the strange noise coming from my car. So I had my cousin Eric go into the shop he was told by [redacted] that they will issue a full refund of $243 to me but I had too wait till the manger (albert) was in.. I went back in the office three times and evertime I went in they told "Oh sorry you just missed him) and ( oh he will be back in 3hours). I never got to see a manger so I called in today (thursaday) and spoke with the manger and he stated that he wasnt issueing a refund and that "I BET NOT COME TO THERE SHOP CAUSING A SCENE "

Come too find out [redacted] and [redacted] are the same person an that he is the manger of this shopDesired Settlement: I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK AND THE MONEY I LOST ON WEDNESDAY FROM HAVING TO MISS A FULL DAY OF WORK.

On 10/18/2014, [redacted]s came into the shop for an oil change and she stated she had an alignment problem. Upon further inspection, we found that the car had bad outer tie rod ends and the grease boots were torn on the tie rod ends. The tie rod ends were damaged severely causing the toe of the alignment to be out. I called the customer and explained that she had bad outer tie rod ends and that the rack and pinion was leaking. I gave her prices on both and she told me that she could only afford the tie rod ends. She then gave Meineke permission to replace them and do the alignment. We performed the work and returned the car in better and safer condition than when the car came in. Two days later, [redacted]s came back stating that the work we did on her car was under warranty from the place she was financing the car from and she stated that she didn't know that at the time. She wanted her money back for the work we did. We stated that we can't give her money back because the work was already done and we didn't know she had a warranty and neither did she at the time and she gave us permission to do the work.
