* Hello, My name is *** ***n, Manager of Meineke *** I am writing in response to complaint #*** We replaced the
brakes on the vehicle a week prior to this incidentThe Brakes were heavily damaged due to a seized Front Brake CaliperWe replaced the brakes and test drove the vehicle and deemed it had no further issuesA week later the customers daughter came in with a horrible noise coming from the front left side of the vehicleThe daughter admitted she may have hit a large potholeThis will damage a wheel bearing badlyThe car was not in a drive-able stateWe recommended that they tow the vehicle if they did not want to complete the repair with usWe did not charge her at all for this diagnosisThe brakes were previously damaged, we can not offer a refund for work that clearly needed to be done, noted by our mechanics and the customer herselfWe showed the customer the brake issue first hand and she took picturesWe also did not damaged an ABS sensor, the abs system check light was on before the repair made as stated on our invoiceIf you have any further questions please contact me @ *** Thank You, *** ***
