I am rejecting this response because: if he truely pulled the bearing he would have seen all the metal shavings in there and if you look at the axle you see pitting on it, also the seal dont just leak for no reason and if he is a Master Mechanic he would understand that the only way to fix the seal is to replace the axle shaft and axle shaft bearing and seal I know this for I have done my research in this is all within miles from your shop and if you look at the items you will know that will not happen and miles the axle shaft bearing needed to be replaced along with the axle shaft and seal we all know this I have lots more photos to prove this
What I'd like to say Is the customer is not telling the truth first of all she came in , and told me that her car was slow to start , and the car was overheating , so when I check the car I find out that the battery needed it replace , I told her that one sale of the battery was going out was not
working properly I never say all the cells were bad , she never told me anything about engine noise , but anyway the first thing I noticed when I open the hood was lifters noises I told her we don't do the job here , she need to go to another shop , she told me she will !! All this was on 3/27/we put a new battery , new radiator cap because was not holding pressure , the invoice was total with taxes $then on 5/1/she came in again saying her car is overheating , so I did a invoice for $for a diagnostic , will webcheck everythnig , We pressure coolant system , pass hold pressure , found no leaks , coolant was full , I let the car running for min was not overheating and I also drive the car for min and found no overheating problem , lifter noises do not causes overheating problems , I put time on this car that's why I charge her $ for labor I did not find anything wrong so that's why I told her the truth , The other shop told her letters are noisy , she did not mention anything about overheating problem
What I like to say here's the rear seal axle was damaged , was the rear driver side seal , technician check for the bearing , and the bearing was fine was nothing wrong with the bearing , at the time we found the differential empty , The only thing that I can say is the job was done the field last...
week please everything else the bearing and the shop was nothing wrong with it !!
I am rejecting this response because: because this owner is not telling the truth he never once mentioned anything to me regarding lifters he only mentioned that in this message secondly that was the reason why I went in there and ask for a diagnostic check is because it was making clacking noises to begin with so for him to say that I never mentioned any noises asinine secondly he charge me for a battery and stated that there were more than one sale that was out I did not need a new battery and while he was telling me about the radiator cap he failed to mention that the hoses that are attached to the radiator or water pump where damage and needed to be replaced I've now had to place that replace that today he is a liar he overcharged me twice I understand possibly the first diagnostic check to tell me what's going on but not the second and because he couldn't come up with a reason why there was a noise he just chose to pull something out of the air at my expense if this is the way he treats long-term customers I hope he won't be in business for long I don't take my car up there without there being a reason for it if you look at the history he's done a lot of work on my car and for some reason or another he decided to lie about this situation it's pretty much all I have to say.
