Meineke Car Care Center #671

Review: I noted when passing Meinke on 9/20/13, Meineke displayed a sign advertising free brake inspection. Upon calling Meinke on 9/20/13 and asking questions about the service, the manager/sales person would not give an me estimate on brake pad or brake rotors for my specific make & model car but instead stated to come in & they would inspect and give an estimate. I stated I was comparison shopping. The manager/sales person stated they would beat or match any written estimate price. Manager/sales person stated I would have to come in to get an estimate. Upon arriving at the place, my husband requested the free service and was told by the manager/sales person that he would not inspect since it would take too long & unless we would have Meineke do the job.Desired Settlement: The manager/sales person was unfriendly and would not do what he said he would in the beginning, a free inspection. I believe the manager should be reprimanded. Also, I want Meineke, the company, to be aware of what their management is saying and that their advertising is untrue and misleading.
