Out truck was dropped off and was scheduled for an oil change, brakes to be replaced all the way around the vehicle and tires rotated When we picked up the vehicle, only the the front brakes were changed, tires were not rotated, we were charged for clean/adj of brakes (I guess the rear) and that was not done because there is a half of a cup of brake dust on my shop floor after I took the wheel off, and and no prints were left on the brake where they should have been adjusted It was still coated in dust like it had never been touched by anything I have pictures!!!!!! Also, I have pictures of new brakes on the front but they didn't NOTICE that the sway bars were BROKE????? What kind of mechanics are these? I will not be taking my vehicles back and I will tell EVERYONE to avoid at ALL cost!!! Their lives depend on it I tried to tell them when we picked up the vehicle that the tires had not been rotated but they said they had but did take the charge off Other things were later found when we took the vehicle home and did further inspection We called to tell them and they still would not hear of it Will not trust them with my life or my families, never again

First and foremost, we acknowledge the shop technician's initial mistake of failing to properly clean out the engine's cylinder head after a broken spark plug during a tune up serviceHad he spent an initial extra minutes cleaning out the cylinder, we could have avoided the serious engine
damage that occurred after the vehicle was restarted with the broken spark plug debrisThe shop technician was disciplined for this errorThe customer was immediately informed of the engine damage issue and Meineke's acceptance to make the problem correctCustomer was informed that we would need the vehicle for approximately week to have cylinder head rebuilt and engine put back togetherCustomer accepted that resolution and the engine's cylinder head was removed and sent to a machine shop for repairCustomer made a brief threat of litigation at that time to Carlos S***, but then backed off of threatThe cylinder head was received back the following week and repair work was to beginMr*** then changed his mind and demanded a replacement engineHe also sated that it need to be completed ASAP, as he needed to take vehicle to a transmission shop for transmission repair asapMeineke obliged to now purchase a replacement used engine and proceeded to do soCustomer was informed that vehicle would need to be kept another weeks or soMeineke also agreed to provide a rental car for the Mrs*** in the interimA car was rented for her at EnterpriseThe replacement engine was installed and unfortunately only ran a day or so, before failingMeineke had purchased the replacement used engine with a warranty, so another replacement was sent out by supplier (***) at no additional cost to customerCustomer also asked for a replacement transmission to be installedHis statement at the time was that since he was getting a replacement engine-“Might as well put a new transmission in as well”Customer was questioned on why he wanted a replacement transmission but failed to disclose detailsThis later becomes relevant as he had initially stated that after Tires & Tune up work, he was going to take the vehicle to a Transmission specialty shop for workHe agreed to pay for remanufactured transmission (part) and labor on top of original ticket(He later demanded most of labor charges be removed from ticket)Customer was provided with the shop's in house car as a loaner in the interimFirst replacement transmission ran for a couple hundred miles before failing due to overheatingSecond replacement transmission was ordered and installed, but customer was informed that he needed to replace transmission cooler this time (part of radiator) or else no warranty would be providedCustomer obliged and paid for radiator on separate ticketOverheating of the original transmission and failure to disclose details of the original transmission's issues are a critical detail that customer failed to disclose to shop and caused unnecessary problems/issues with regards to the first remanufactured transmission installedMrs*** called on August 24th at approximately pm and asked us to look at a shifter cable issueShe was asked to come in the following morning (Saturday) for a review(This issue had previously being discussed with Mr*** and he had accepted the vehicleHe failed to relay information to his wife)Mrs*** became abusive on the phone with shop manager Martin S*** and threatened litigationMr*** also then called the shop and spoke to Martin S*** and also left voicemails on cell phone of Carlos S*Their threats included a lawsuit and that they would soon “own our shop and take everything we own” Customer has called and spoken to Meineke Corporate Customer Service and was informed to take vehicle to another Meineke for review of work (Part of Meineke system National Warranty)Customer was provided with information on Meineke's in Florida, where they now liveCustomer declined to take vehicle in to a Meineke for reviewPer customer's own mailings, the vehicle has recently driven well over 2000k miles from when it was last at our shopThis is despite the customer's claims that the vehicle was 'un-drivable' due to various issuesWith pending litigation in mind, we respectfully decline to go in to full details regarding other concerns on the customer's letter to Revdex.comHowever, evidence will show that we did all we could to mitigate the situation and make things right despite working with a repeatedly hostile customer

Including mileage of when vehicle initially came in to shop and left on various instances. I would like to see these Also, customer's own receipts from Florida show that vehicle was driven across country with approx 2000 miles of travel.
