Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI have read Meineke's response Evidently this man does not understand what I asked them to do originally and that was to rebuild my front end on the truckWhether one ball joint was bad or not, rebuild the whole front end Example: If I asked you to do a complete brake job, although one brake is good, and three are bad; would you not replace the good brake for it would probably go bad soon? You cannot repair the bad and leave one that is good, because soon the one that you did not repair will be faulty That is why I asked them to repair everything, although one was good, repair it anyway since everything is new As far as his discount, he could have taken that and fix the other ball joint I still would have paid for it because I asked you to repair everything including brake repair Regards, [redacted]

The customer brought the vehicle back to the shop the following business day after filing the complaint We traced the source of the customers concern to a recent repair that had been performed at another shop We informed the customer of our findings and offered to replace the faulty part at no charge even though it had been installed at an independent shop not affiliated with Meineke The customer accepted this as a solution to the problemWe installed the necessary parts and solved the problem

Good day, this customer concern has been addressed and resolvedThe customer let me know that he was just venting when he filled the complaintI certainly sympathizes with him due to the failed part and having to be inconvenienced with towing his vehicle back to our repair facilityI had a conversation with the customer last week and he has received the refund check for the cost that was incurred due to the towing.? ? I also explained to the customer that he is not due a refund for the repairs as the repairs were completed and redone under warranty for the faulty caliper.? The customer stated to me that he has no current issues with the brakes at this time and I further reminded him that his brake repairs come with a year / 24,mile nationwide warranty.? Please feel free to contact me with any questions

Dear Revdex.com, Mr [redacted] brought is Nissan Frontier to my shop on 03/14/with brake issues, his truck had miles on itWe inspected the brake system and found that the brake pads were worn outI presented an estimate for the repairs to Mr [redacted] and he gave us the ok to do the repairsWe used a high quality brake pad that we purchased from [redacted] ***, part number DGMy shop performs on the average of brake jobs a month, including the Nederland Police carsWe use the same brake pads on all these repairs on ninety percent of these vehiclesMy comeback ratio is less than one percent Mr [redacted] Nissan came to us 0n 12/22/for a squeak in his front brakes, after doing an inspection we found cracks in his front brake padsMy Manager [redacted] is an A.S.ECertified Master Automotive Technician, Master Auto Machinist, and A.S.Ecertified Auto Parts Specialist, his and my conclusion, is that the cracks were causedfrom heatThis is what we see when we replace brakes on police carsWe performed a complete inspection on Mr [redacted] s brake system to make sure the calipers were not stuck, made sure the caliper slides were lubed, every component on the brake system is working properlyWe also inspected the rear brakes and found no cracks or any otherproblems In Mr [redacted] s statement he said we put the same [redacted] brake pads on his truck, upon his request we used a brake pad from [redacted] ***I personally drove toPort Arthur to pick them up at [redacted] ***, part number GNADIn his statement, he said he asked for the old pads, I told him he could have them after this issue is settled, that I may need them in litigation At Meineke Car Care we warranty our brake pads for the life of the carThe labor is warranty is one year, it was days until In conclusion Mr [redacted] s Nissan came to us on 03/14/with miles and on 12/22/miles later for the same issuesMy brake pads performed as well as the original Nissan brake padsMr [redacted] s vehicle had a problem, which was not necessarily a defect, but in our professional opinion was driver technique, hard stops, not stopping in a reasonable distance any of these can cause excessive heat causing heat cracksIt is also our belief that a defect in the brake pad would have shown itself before forty two months and miles, further validating our conclusion of poor driver technique Although the disputed amount is only one hundred seven dollars, I feel its unjustified because our part and labor performed as well as it could under the sever conditions [redacted] Owner Meineke Car Care Center Nederland

This is in response to the complaint by Mr [redacted] ** face="Calibri">Mr [redacted] came to our shop on 3/31/and asked if we could press a bearing in a wheel hub He had the wheel hub and bearing in the back of his truck I told him I wanted my technician to take a look at it first Mr [redacted] had tried to get the bearing in himself unsuccessfully and had knocked out a small piece of the wheel hub My technician, JC W***, pressed the bearing into the hubI only charged Mr [redacted] $for the service We did not install the hub on his vehicle Pressing the bearing into the wheel hub is a simple process which requires a hydraulic press However, if Mr [redacted] would have brought his vehicle back to our shop, we would have checked out the hub and bearing and if the bearing had been installed incorrectly, we would have assumed responsibility and repaired the vehicle Please call me if you have any questionsThanks, Randy [redacted] Owner/Operator Tell us why here

Complaint Information: [redacted] has returned to our shop after the complaint to Revdex.com we addressed his concerns of each issue car not starting tuned out to be door latch sticking or not catching properly causing the interior light not to shut off resulting in draining the battery over night oil on the new coil that was installed we found that there was no oil spilled on the new coil it turned out to be the way the new coil looked when brand new, it was the gel sealer that the manufacture used to seal off the electrical portion of the coil it gave the appearance of wetness , but was dry spark plugs left under the hood we found this to be human error ,, the tech who worked on the vehicle had found some other minor issues he decided to repair at no charge { broken vacume lines ] the tech explained to us he was keeping the spark plugs to show the customer instead of discarding them he took the car for a test drive after he completed the work saying it ran so good causing him to to forget the old spark plugs under the hood we apologized to [redacted] for any inconvenience we offered our supreme oil service to him free of change to any car of his choice we value [redacted] as a customer here at meineke up date [redacted] has returned to us for additional work thank you [redacted] from the store manager and staff

Mr [redacted] came in on November 17th, without an appointment and asked if he can get his winter tires installed. He mentioned that he was referred here by a client that has been coming to this shop for over three years, he also mentioned that the client spoke very highly of me, my staff, and my shop and that's why he came in for the service. I told him that it shouldn't be a problem to change his tires for him, so he decided to leave his car her and left. We brought the car in and removed his winter tires out of the back seat and installed them on the car and put his summer tires back inside the car. As he mentioned the install went fine. He came back and payed for his service and left. He came back after two hours later and accused my technician of scratching his car!! I went outside and looked at the location of the scratches, I also felt them. The two old touched up scratches were about 3-inches long and were really high, almost equivalent to were the window is when its closed. I saw old touch up paint on them. The touch up paint was very dry also very faded and had very small fine scratched on them. The color of the touch up paint was identical to the car, not fresh. I mentioned to Mr [redacted] that 1st, these scratches are old and it was not done here. 2nd, there is no way that a tire would make that kind of scratches since that's all we did here. 3rd, the tires came out of the back seat in bags and directly on the floor not on top of the car were the scratches are. 4th, if we scratched it and this is fresh touch up paint it would be a darker black since the car is a little faded. 5th, if this is fresh touch up paint and its only two hours old you can usually smell it and put your nail thru it since it takes longer than two hours to cure. After explaining all this to him, he had nothing to say other than I don't car if you fix or not, I just want you to admit that you scratched it. I told him that there is nothing to admit since we didn't scratch it. I also mentioned to him why would you say that you don't care if we fix it or not. If you are convinced that we scratched it, you would demand the repair not say I don't care!!! It was around three o'clock when he left, he called and said that he went to a body shop and confirmed that the scratches are fresh and have been buffed, I asked Mr [redacted] which body shop he was at so we can meet there and discuss the problem, he wouldn't tell me!!!! and there is a reason why, there is no body shop that would take anyone in without an appointment especially at that time of day, and it will not cost a dollars to fix those scratches. It makes me more sick to my stomach that you accused me and my staff off doing something that did not happen. After reading his complaint I like to say that I did not shrug him off or laugh in his face, and yes I do care not only about his concern, but all my customers concernsI also did not call him a liar or hang up in his face, he's the one who called me a liar and hung up in my faceIf he is convinced that we scratched it, he should be demanding the fix, not say I don't care if you fix it or at least pay for half. when you say that you know that you are at fault!!!

This is a very reliable and dependable place, my wife and I have been going here for many years, the operators name is Mike and is a super nice guyI only trust his judgement with mine and my wife's vehicleHe has accommodated us on many inconvenient occasions and has worked with us in the past to get what we need to get fixed on our own time table and doesn't push parts or fixes if you don't want themThis is a very reliable business, I have only had good dealings with them and I would recommend this place to anybody

I am rejecting this response because:
Fabrication is a word you know well Im sure .I have the proof so you can say what you want but I know the truthFunny all I did was put some better brake pads and a new rotor and no more black dust and no more problemEven the auto part store said you were a slippery sheister.I dont care about the moneyYou keep itMy brakes are great now and Im over it but I will tell everyone I know and then some Do Not Go To MeinekeYou know what you did but most importantly so does God!!!

I have attempted to reach Mr *** by phone but got his answering machine. I left a message apologizing for his complaint. I did tell him that we will refund his money as requested. Our check for $will go out in today's mail. *** *** *** *** ***)

Mrs*** called the shop pricing tires stating she wanted the least expensive tire for her vehicle We quoted the Fuzion Touring a 40,mile rated tire at $+ install would be a total of with the rebate would be approximately + taxThe Fuzion is a tire that was
available to us next day from the StLouis warehouse; Mrs*** stated that she had to have the tires that day as it was her only day off I informed her at that time that we had a Cooper CSGrand Touring 80,mile rated tire in stock that would allow her an additional rebate from Cooper making her total cost after rebates, She said that would be okay and came to the shopWhen she arrived we installed the tires, gave her the paperwork for the rebates, she signed all receipts and left Later that evening Mr*** called asking for a breakdown of cost and it was explained in detailIt should also be noted that it was explained that for an additional $the ***'s where getting a top tier tire with twice the life expectancy. I would like to apologize for any miscommunication about the tires with Mrs***, but this is what was available to us the same day and we informed them of the total tire cost prior to install

Complaint Information:
text-align: left;" valign="top"> mr *** did have his car inspected and was found many issues with said car and he said he couldnt afford to repair it fully and we help him by doing the bare necessity to make the vehicle safe enough for the road but was told he needed the remainder repairs to bring his car to 100% he wasnt financially able to repair all at this time and he also had told me he didnt want to put any more money into said vehicle because he was going to get a new car with in ten months we did our best to help and service itwe did not negotiate the price but declined some of the service to get cost down so he could afford to repair the major issues it hadhe was fully aware what was going to be and understude that it did in fact need more service

I have reviewed his response once more and find his complaint to be unjust, he did not ask for his front end to be rebuilt, he asked for the front end to be checked and upon our finding had us replace what was wrong, which we didWe at Meineke do not and will not ever recommend replacing a part that isn't bad, we are an honest company and stand by our decisionThankyou Thomas ***

This is all a fabrication The front brakes were done with the calipers and rotors(with all OE quality parts)The same was done to the rear on the previous visitThe concern *** has is probably another issue with the front right brakePossible front brake hose may not be letting the fluid
release the caliper, since it has approxhas 200,milesThis same issue was known to have been doing the same thing prior to this repairWe started with what was damaged firstThe rear brakes were done with the same quality brake pads, No concerns by customer was appearing for the rear brakes The price *** paid was for a quality job by a quality shopTrying to discredit the shop is incorrectMaybe its time to repair the complete brake systemThe cost of replacement is expensive this customer was not prepared to fix this correctly*** *** owner/operator and parts purchase buyer

plumber replaced a toilet flapper in August, flapper continued not to work, I notified him via phone, he was to arrive at my home the following evening and did not show up, I continued to call him 3-times, plumber failed to return all of my calls.......toilet still broken with incorrect flapper, will need to get another plumber to fix the problem

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Their reponse is not correct and honest they forgot to install caliper screw after replacing break pads I was getting constant noise after complaining for weeks after the repairs I was pointed at axel issues causing this problem and was give a quote of 1000$ to fix instead I took it to local mechanic he immediately pointed out the missing caliper screw after brake replacement for 20$ I am really not happy with the way I was serviced and charged Who was responsible in case of any breakdown with the missing caliper screw ? is a big question after paying 400$ you don't expect that also after the drum alignment I am getting noise till date when I apply brakes
Sincerely,

I have conferred with my shop Manager Tom L*** on this matter at length several timesWe in fact resolved a credit card charge back issue in our favor recently pertaining to this very incidentWe at Meineke shop regard our good reputation
and relationship with our good customers as the most valued and important asset that we controlUnfortunately this does not mitigate the occasional unfortunate mistake or misstep on the part of a technician or the unreasonable demands or expectations of an abusive customer. As per the documents provided herein we installed an outer tie rod end and a hub style wheel bearing assembly on this vehicleWe have subsequently had the vehicle back in for reinspection and find no defects pertaining to these installationsWe at Meineke provide a day part and labor warranty and we unflinchingly back this up nationwideThis vehicle returned several weeks after service with an additional issue of vibrationit was determined that the recommendation would be suspension renewalThis vehicle when in for the initial service had over thousand miles on itIt is reasonable to conclude that It will need upcoming additional repair servicesWe are happy to revisit this customers vehicle at no charge and diagnose and recommend service or repair at no obligationThe customer is free to take our recommendation to another facility for serviceWe certainly find no grounds for refundWe in fact are in the dark as to the expectationPlease note we have service visits in years on file with Miss ***We value her as our customerThank you for acting as intermediary in this unfortunate matterRegards
