My problem, brake pedal would go to the floor on occasion Mostly it would go half way down. What they did, inspected the breaks and replaced the front pads and disks. Did that fix my problem? NO! Brought the car back, manager gave me the old routine of HHRs have a soft pedal. Drove some more, brought the car back, told them maybe the lines need bleeding, they checked, no they didn't. Their response was, maybe you need a brake master cylinder. They also showed me liquid around the oil pan, a new problem. When I told them I watch for leak indications on my driveway and haven't seen any the Mechanic tasted the liquid and said with great knowledge, "It's water, you must have driven through a puddle." I told them I didn't. HOW DID THE WATER GET THERE? A GREAT MYSTERY. Now any trust I had in them went the way of hundreds of dollars I had paid them to repair a problem they never fixed and I believe they didn't know how to. So what did I do? What I should have done in the first place, I took it to Val Mark Chevy. After Val Mak inspected the car they knew right away what the problem was and fixed it. My advice to you the reader, STAY AWAY FROM MEINEKE!!!!! They only want your money and they will get it!

I am rejecting this response because:Attached is the receipt from Hyundai to...
fix the spark plug cable wire that was never advised needing to be replaced by Meineke when initially brought in to Meineke in June . Also is attached the car rental receipt that I had to pay for the week Hyundai was servicing my car, and lastly, attached is a picture of the actual spark plug cable that was removed from my car. (The original receipt from Meineke is also attached, showing they only replaced the spark plug, and nothing noting the spark plug cabled needing to be replaced, nor was it verbally advised to me at the time of service.)If any resolution is to come of this, I would like the fees from Hyundai and the car rental reimburse to me; if Meineke would have done their due diligence the first time, it would have prevented me having to get my vehicle serviced again and I would have never occurred the later fees. I in trusted Meineke to have the knowledge to properly service vehicles and to inform their customers of any and all needed repairs. No one advised me that the spark plug cable was needing to be replaced and I have no knowledge of auto mechanics, that is why I sought out Meineke to provide me quality service. All of the later issues would have never occurred if my vehicle was services properly the first time around. I hope that a satisfying and fair resolution will come of this.
