Review: [redacted]On 2/10/2015 I took my vehicle to Meineke (Oxnard Location) at 2011 N Oxnard Blvd 93036, to get my car serviced for an oil change. The Meineke Customer Service/Sales Tech advised me an addition to my oil change, recommended to replace the Air Filter & Cabin Filter. At a later time I received a phone call from Meineke Customer Service that my service was complete & my vehicle was ready for pick up. On Sunday 10/25/2015, my vehicle began to give me problems. The vehicle had engine failure & check engine light came on. I drove the vehicle to the GMC(Simi Valley) 2100 First St. 93065, for service of my vehicle, the vehicle was left overnight for Monday 10/26/2015 service. On Thursday 10/29/2015, my parents & I visited the GMC location, the dealership provided diagnosis of why my vehicle failed. GMC Dealership Tech advised, the incorrect air filter was installed in the vehicle causing the vehicle engine turbo & intake manifold to fail. The GMC Tech advised to review past service records to identify responsible party for servicing the air filter. It was identified on 02/10/2015 Meineke in Oxnard, CA installed the incorrect air filter in my vehicle. On 11/9/2015 at 12:01pm I notified Meineke Corporate Customer Service. I informed Corporate Customer Service, Oxnard Meineke on 02/10/2015 serviced my vehicle & replaced air filter and installed incorrect air filter part causing severe damage to my vehicle. I advised Corporate Meineke, my vehicle is non operable & currently at the GMC Dealership going through mechanical diagnosis to identify any further damage to the engine. Corporate Meineke advised me a member of Resolutions & Investigative Team will be contacting me within 48hrs. A[redacted] (General Manager) at Oxnard Meineke advised me he would not help me or repair my vehicle to its original. A[redacted], was very unprofessional and stated not to call him back. My final words to A[redacted], I will report to Revdex.com regarding my poor service with Meineke. A[redacted] advised me he did not care to help or resolve matter.Desired Settlement: I asked Armado (General Manager) Meineke to pay service, parts, and labor, and final invoice provided by GMC Dealership to have my car to it's Original running condition.

Review: Received an oil change about two months ago, started seeing a oil leak about a week ago and made an appointment with the vehicle dealer, Kirby Suzuki, Today was told that the oil filter was not properly installed and that was the cause of the leak. I spoke with a Mr. Julber Hernandez of Meineke Econo Lube, He first accused me of lying, and wanted to know why ii did not come to him first. I tried to explain to him about the vehicle warranty. He told me there was nothing he could do because I took the vehicle somewhere else first. I asked to speak to the owner and Mr. Hernandez told me that I would only be dealing with him and the owner would not speak to me. I am very concerned because of the tone of which he spoke to me and accused me of lying. I am also concerned for the fact that he has excess to my home address.Desired Settlement: All I ask is that Meineke Econo Lube pays for the service that was needed $40.24.
