Review: 6/28/14 I went to do a complete oil change on my toyota corolla 2006,came out and I travel to my destination coming back from secaucus n.j. the oil light was on and the car stop working. Meineke confirm that there worker did not put the cap on right co they burn my motor. They order a motor for my car but had to many mileage so we refuse that motor,since we want the motor with the same mileage for close to what my car had,befor I went to change my oil. They order my another motor 7/25/14 they told me on 7/29/14 that the motor will be in,still waiting. I called the main office of Meineke and the lady told me since I refuse the first motor the owner of that branch refuse to give me service car. I walk and mile and half to work every day. They have no compasion for the horriable error there work did,so the customer has to be waling to work,because they will not give me a servise car this is ot correct customer care.Desired Settlement: I should be given a full guarenteed for the motor and some money for the days that I did not have my car. Also get my money for the first toying that I paid and my money I spend for the oil change.

Review: I brought a catalytic converter and downpipe by Flowmaster which is the same brand this and all meineke shops advertise. They easy bolt on parts. I wanted the pipes installed and after being told by [redacted] that the job will take 4 hours completed it took 8 hours. They cut the downpipes to make their own sleeve to connect to the headers. They destroyed my bolt on pipes and then blamed the exhaust leak on broken and cracked headers and that I should buy new headers and bring it to them to put on. They completely destroyed the original part and destroyed the two parts one the header collecter and the pipes with the catalytic converters. I went to my regular mechanic and he took pictures of the horrible cutting and welding and mushroom effect that meineke did. Now I have lost $180 for the down pipe with catalytic converter and down pipe which they cut to add some piece of their own. My mechanic took pictures and I have them to show that these people are liars and cheat people out of their money if you don't buy from them. I asked if they will cover the damages they said no and [redacted] says go to another shop or go to court because I did not buy from them. these are bolt on parts and they cut and welded to the point I cannot use them and now blamed my headers. my mechanic said my headers are good no problems its the installation of the down pipes and catalytic converters. they ruined them and I have to pay another 700 to fix the problem meineke did. these were all brand new out of the box items that they destroyed and I don't know why they would do so just to make it fit. So they destroyed my parts. I want my refund and will take them to small claims courtDesired Settlement: I want a refund for what I was billed for and for the parts they destroyed equals $779. I will also file a case against them in small claims court. However, I want them to pay for the damages they did.
