Dear Revdex.com &/or Mr***, I am sorry that Mr*** is unhappy but we truly believe this is just a misunderstanding due to poor communication by Mr***. All of the contracted work has been completed, and Mr*** signed a certificate of satisfaction on November
13, 2017.Mr*** had us perform the repairs to his soffit as specified by his insurance claim, but directed us not to paint the soffit, which was also in the claimThe amount in dispute is within two dollars of the money held in recoverable depreciation to be released upon completion of that portion of the claimWe did not invoice the insurance carrier for those funds, as we were directed not to perform the work, so Mr*** did not receive that money.We were not able to see the alleged 1/4" gap in the soffit repair, as Mr*** had another tradesman apply caulk prior to letting us know he had a problem with itWe took him at his word and gave him a $discount, per his request to make this right with him. The custom painted drip edge was matched to the existing paint provided by Mr***. It was the exact color as the existing paint.As with every project, we have before and after photos of the home to ensure that no damage was done by any "hammering, pounding, or kicking"Mr*** may be referencing the 1/4" gaps per above that were resolved.After signing the certificate of satisfaction, Mr*** received his deprecation check, which would have been short the amount in question as we did not invoice for work we didn't do, per his directionSince that time, we have been unable to reach him through numerous phone calls, and visits to his property (documented & available if necessary) where we've been turned away at the door by a different person in the houseWe've reached out to his Liberty Mutual adjuster, *** *** for help, and he agreed to explain our position and final bill to Mr***Finally, after months worth of attempts to collect, we notified him of our intent to place a lien on his property, and he has responded with a negative Revdex.com review, demanding money from us.We are still owed $3,for this job.As always, we will do anything in our power to correct any workmanship issues that Mr*** may have. As far as we know, we have done just that and Mr*** has confirmed this to us with the Certificate of Completion and the acceptance of the $for the soffit "gaps". The primary issue here seems to be the recoverable depreciation for items that we did not complete that Mr*** will need to collect from his insurance company.Because this does not seem like a legitimate complaint, only a misunderstanding, or possibly an attempt to dodge payment, I would appreciate the opportunity to get this complaint removed from our Revdex.com profile. We have been a patron of Revdex.com for a long time and have zero complaints on our record (Fort Worth). We would prefer to keep it this way. Also, Mr***'s home is in Dallas, TX and was serviced by our FORT WORTH, TX office. Im not sure why he put in a complaint with the Heart of Texas Revdex.com as our San Antonio or Austin office did not service his home. Additionally, I will gladly meet Mr*** on-site to review the paperwork & invoices as well as look at any workmanship issues that have not been resolved per above.Regards, *** ***, Meis Roofing & Construction###-###-#### cell***

[redacted] came out to the house , listened to my concerns about the problem and acted immediately to fix the problem,the next day he had a crew on the job and they fixed everything that clayton and I had gone over.I commend [redacted] for his professional approach , I am 100 % satisfied with the work that was done and would use this company in the future.

warranty claims but this is the first I have heard of your problem.  Every single one of our office phone calls are transcribed for record keeping.  A search through all of our calls logs over the last month does not reveal any phone calls or emails from you.  Is it possible you were calling the wrong number?  Which number did you call?  Had you called or emailed our office rather than complaining to the Revdex.com we would have provided ASAP warranty service for you.  I spoke with [redacted] and he did say you called him a day or two after the roof install.  He said you reported a leak and [redacted] dispatched a repair man the next day to address the problem.  Is the leak still occurring after this repair was made?Attached is the Certificate of Satisfaction that you signed only a few weeks back at the end of the project.  Because you were satisfied at the time, I assume your complaint is warranty related, not a problem with the installation.Regarding replacement of soft decking, I cannot speak to that but I will gladly come inspect the decking along with any leak issues and resolve both problems to your complete satisfaction.  We take customer service very seriously and we stand behind our warranty 100%.  This is the reason I handle all warranty claims myself.  Please let me know what day and time works for you to come look at the decking and leak.  If it is a warranty issue that we are liable for, I will gladly make sure if gets corrected or you get re-reimbursed for any repair costs that were done to correct our work.Please respond to this email or call/email me directly at my contact information below.Thank you, [redacted]
