I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find the resolution is satisfactory to me

Response to complaint:The $withheld from the $is absolutely justifiedWe were, in fact, quite conciliatory. It is not true that the carpets were not cleaned before she moved in They were all cleaned There were small pink spots in the living room and two pink spots in one bedroom which would not come out We purchased a new area rug for this tenant to cover the living room spots The bedroom spots were not noticeable. We discussed the fact that we would not charge for cleaning carpets which were to be removed We did not remove the bedroom carpets because they are still in good conditionIt was absolutely necessary that they be cleaned because Tenant had a cat Cats always leave cat dander and cat odor and it is imperative that carpets be cleaned before new tenants move inThe lease clearly states that Tenant would be charged $for carpet cleaning upon move-out as stated below:SECURITY DEPOSITThe total security deposit at the time of execution of this Lease Contract for all residents in the apartment is$875.00, due on or before the date this Lease Contract is signedWe will hold the security deposit for the term of the tenancy and, upon termination of the tenancy, reserve the right to use the security deposit, or portions thereof, to cover any charges related to your performance of this Lease Contract, including, but not limited to, cleaning, repair of damages, unpaid rent, late fees, and returned check feesA non-refundable charge of $for carpet & floor cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit at the termination of the lease. The actual cost to us for cleaning the bedroom carpets was $Since the living room and hall carpets were removed and replaced with wood flooring, Tenant paid nothing for cleaning of those carpets. We have no record of any request for repairing a broken closet door nor any notice of any problem with a burned out bulb in the garageUpon inspection at move-out, there was no mention of a broken closet door and none was indicated on the inspection report We inspected all the doors and found no broken doors. It is not true that we did not keep up with yard work We pay a professional lawn service to cut grass and tall weeds during growing season
