Melillo Motors, Inc.

I brought a car for my family on 05/19/2014. When we first saw the car which is an [redacted] we asked if the oil consumption issue affected the car and were told by not one but two employees at Melillo Motors Inc, that, that was not an issue with this particular vehicle. When we purchased the vehicle we noticed the power steering pump was leaking and brought it the attention of the dealership and also that the oil was low. They topped off the oil and replaced the pump. After our second oil change at the [redacted] dealer ship we were told that the oil level seems to be dropping and so we had to do an oil consumption test and of course our car burns EXSESSIVE amounts of oil. Then it was brought to our attention that the power steering pump is leaking again so much so that it burned out the alternator and killed the battery. Of course Melillos' motors offered to fix the PSP as they should and when going to pick my car, my husband brought to the mechanics attention that not only did they leave a couple of screw drivers in my engine bay but they DID NOT bolt my motor mount back down and we had to pay $150 for the work done! To top that off not even two weeks later I find that the pump is leaking massive amounts of PS fluid all over my alternator again. But wait it gets better! After going back again to talk to the mechanic (who I believe is not even certified) and explain to them that I'm at my wits end. The mechanic decides to call the [redacted] dealership to set up an appointment so they can replace the faulty PSP since he could not fix the problem but when I called to confirm the appointment to my amazement the service dept had no clue what I was talking about and insisted they never spoke to ANYONE at Melillo motors. So the mechanic blatantly lied to our faces speaking to god knows who pretending to make an appointment to get our car fixed. Then when explaining the faulty car situation to the owner Robert M[redacted] he said the only thing he could do was put us in another car but we would have to pay him a thousand dollars to do so. Like seriously there's on going issue with the power steering and your incompetent mechanics cant seem to fix it, the fluid is an oil and it leaking and splashing everywhere causing secondary issues with the car. When if it was fixed right the first time we wouldn't be having this issue!!! Not to mention the rudeness of the office manager who cusses like a pirate and has inappropriate discussions in front of customers and all the other costumer complaints about shoty work done. I have learned my lesson the hard way and I will NEVER, EVER, EVER RECOMMED THIS PLACE TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!
