To Whom it may concern; Here was my response to *** ***’s Complaint. "*** *** hired me, yes I did treat her like family as I do all my clientsI kept in contact with her helping her every step of the way while she was deployed checking in on her and making sure I could help in
any way I wouldI included additional bridal brunch photos which was not in the original menu but because I adored her and her groom I wanted her to have themThe day of the wedding, I showed up at 7:am and stayed till 8pm past the ferry which all the guests were on because she had asked for a photo to reveal their pregnancy which was a Free Beach Session (with $in digital files)which was my pleasure anything to make her happyShot wedding and told her it would be 4-weeks - I delivered the images on the 5th week, and yes there were electronic issues in which I could not control but as soon as she contacted me I then reviewed it find that it was an electronic errorI did communicate that to herI then sent the correct USB files to her as wellShe kept the downloads of the first USB and then had the ones of the second USB which I completely was okay with again wanted her to be happyI then asked for a list of the images she said she was not happy with even after she left me rave reviews of loving the portraits and could not wait to receive the restI then reviewed them sent the full file collection to an independent wedding photographerThere were ten soft images which was the softness from the natural lightI agreed to refund her for thatBecause she was complaining she was unhappy with the few images out of hundredsEven though in my I told them I would send them the tip back with the additional amountI even sent her the 16xportrait of her choice as it was part of the contract she did not send it back( I also offered to give them a wedding album that I would design and put togetherThey declined) as Stuff happens, even out of a photographer's controlI am sorryNew England was hit with devastating storms that the government listed as a disaster for our area as we were out of electricity for a week as well as other factors which other clients had to cancel and this I explained to herThen to get slammed with further storms that caused yet again other cancelationsI will not make clients pay the booking date fee during that disaster it was too much for them to bearI did go out and get a second job to keep my obligation to pay the brideExplained to her in an emailShe originally loved the images, and wrote great reviews, but wanted 50% refundI'm sorry, this turned out this way for you ***, you are going to receive the monies on the dates that were discussed last night, please send me an email if you would like to further discuss this matterI wish you nothing but the bestMay you find abundance and joy in this year to come."***I had paid The client/consumer the refund in December of 2017. She had received the $in two installments one in November and one in December as I had stated to her. The complaint had been communicated with her as I had done so with her via email a number of times even after the said client said she did not want me to contact her.*** J ***Photographer/Owner

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. .
I find it very interesting that [redacted] J [redacted] can sit there and blatantly lie to the Revdex.com and the public about what actually happened. Lets start with the fact that when my husband and I originally booked her, she told me that she would work a 12 hour day if needed, and that it wouldn't matter how late or early she arrived. I would also like it to be known that I asked [redacted] to my bridal brunch and specifically said "this is not for working purposes, I want you there to enjoy this moment with me," (also please note the [redacted] message attached) she then chose to take pictures on her own, and send them to me, after I made it very clear that THIS WAS NOT FOR WORKING PURPOSES. Also, as far as the "pregnancy announcement" photos, in my contract she gave us a free "day after session," which we never received, and then later told me that the "pregnancy announcement" session was my free session. So, I'm not sure where she factored 800 dollars out of a free session.... After she left (which was NOT at 8 because all my guests were gone by 630), she told us we would see the pictures in 4 weeks.  *Please note that our wedding was Aug 6, and we did not receive pictures until Sep 26. Please take note of the [redacted] message attached of when we received the pictures*Well, on the 7.5 week mark, I finally received the photos and was extremely unhappy with the quality. Yes, the pictures she posted on [redacted] were great, but the final product was garbage. After blaming it on electronic error multiple times, even though lighting and being blurry is not electronic, I sent her a list of approximately 53 images that I was not happy with, she then said she "fixed them" but we did not see how she fixed them (please note email attached for list of pictures). SO I'm not sure where this "ten images came from" The 16x24 photo, was also in our contract, and I chose the picture that I saw best for it, so I'm not sure why I would send it back....I declined the wedding album because we thought the pictures were so horrendous that we couldn't imagine what was going to be put in this album. I also never stated that I wanted 50% back, so I'm not sure where this accusation came from. And as far as getting our final payment, we only got one installment in December, and then she NEVER MAILED THE SECOND AND THIRD installments as we previously agreed. She finally issued us the final installment in JANUARY (not December as her response says, also note the attached email). I told her that I did not want any further contact with her, unless it was about our refund and tracking numbers. She neglected to tell us that our refund was going to be sent out late because she was broke and had no money. As far as I'm concerned, this looks extremely pathetic on a business if you have no reserves. Please see attachments of emails to show that my husband and I are being made to look like liars in this complaint.
Regards,
