Review: I hired [redacted] to take photos of my son's sitting milestone. I coordinated over email and phone with her in advance, and to reserve the date of the session, paid a $[redacted] deposit through [redacted]. We set a date for the session and she cancelled that same morning without any advance notice. Her reason was that a cousin of hers was in a car accident, had passed away, and she was dealing with family issues. I do not know if this is true or not. In any event, she apologized and we set a make-up session for a week and half later. As for the rescheduled session, she cancelled again -- also on the morning of -- and again without any advance notice. This time her reason was that she had been up all night vomiting. She asked me for a couple of dates that I'd be available to again reschedule, which I provided. Days went by and she never responded to my offer of certain dates. She wouldn't respond to emails or phone calls. I then asked, via email and messages on her phone, to issue me a refund of my $[redacted] deposit. She has completely ignored this request. I am now in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card compnay.Desired Settlement: I would like an immediate refund of my $[redacted] deposit.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] who provided a response. She said she sent a [redacted] refund to the customer and it sat there for 48 hours so she took it back because she didn't want it to expire. [redacted] will resend the refund through the [redacted] account.

Review: On August 13, 2014, I called and e-mailed [redacted] about hiring her to do a DVD cover announcement for our pregnancy announcement with an attachment of what we had in mind of giving to our families. She e-mailed me back , and said she could absolutely to that, and said she could do it complimentary if I booked the belly and baby session with her; she proceeded to send a link to that specific package she was speaking of and gave me the information of when I would do my maternity session with her as well as the session for my new born. I asked her when I should book the package, and she said as soon as possible to ensure a spot on her books. I informed her that we decided to instead do the DVD cover for the sex announcement of the baby and that I had already bought the "Belly and Baby Package."

I did not hear anything from her until I contacted her again on November 24, 2014; after 2 weeks of waiting for her response as to when we could do the DVD cover, I decided to e-mail her again. She called me at this point with the excuse that she was out of town visiting colleges for her son, and had to internet/cell connection. We agreed to do the DVD cover that she had promised to do on December 13, 2014. The photo shoot went well with the exception of her being an hour late, and she said I should have ten copies of the DVD cover by the end of year/December. I e-mailed her again on January 14, 2015 about the status of my DVD covers, and did not hear a response. I than proceeded to text her on January 20, 2014, and still heard no response as to the status of my DVDs. I called her cell and home phone multiple times to find out what was going on. I finally heard back from her in text format on January 22, 2014 asking for our names to put on the DVD covers, and how many copies I needed of them; I could not believe that she did not even know our names to put on the DVD cover and how many copies we needed. I did not understand if she needed this information why she did not contact us before I did; I told at that point we would wanted our DVD cover, but that was the extent of our business with her since it was so hard and aggravating to get in contact with her. I told her we were willing to pay for the DVD cover even though she said she would do it complimentary. She got upset, and said she had driven 2 hours to do our DVD cover. I did not understand why that was relevant since she did not mention anything about charging for mileage. I told her it seems like she did not have time for us, and that we just want our money back and go with someone else who did have time for us. She said she would send us the DVD cover for the cost of the $200 we paid, which is not what we agreed upon. I said if that was the case to just give our money back without the DVD cover that she had promised. I did mention to her that I had read the multiple complaints with the same frustration that I have as a client from other clients in the Revdex.com site, and that I would be filing a complaint and notifying [redacted] as well. She said that I was threatening her, and that I should be ashamed. I told her I was not threatening her, and that we wanted our money back and what I was going to do as a client. she said responded that her previous issues with clients were normal when dealing with pregnant women and new moms; something I found so offensive and unprofessional to say to a client. She said her family had the flu for a week, as well as herself, and we would not get our money back until 3-4 business weeks from January 22, 2015 since she was not working. She also mentioned again about having internet issues, and that she had sent me an e-mail even though it was the second time I did not receive anything from her.

At this point I don't think that she is intending on giving back our money because it has been excuses after excuses with her. I told she runs a bad business, is unprofessional, and has no communication with her clients which is the reason for these complaints.Desired Settlement: We would like for her to refund our $200 that we paid for her "Belly and Baby Session" to which we did not receive any service or product. We have lost a lot of time dealing with her when we could have been dealing with someone who had time, and respected the fact that this is precious time for us. We have had to start from scratch with another photographer.

Review: I contacted [redacted] and confirmed she would be able to take newborn photos for my sister last November. I paid for the session fee as soon as she told me she could do the session. When my sister delivered her son, she had trouble contacting the photographer. [redacted] rescheduled her photo shoot twice before she stopped returning her phone calls and emails entirely. [redacted] promised a refund to me in January but I am still waiting for the refund - it is now September. Unfortunately, my sister will never get her newborn pictures of her son...I cannot change that. I am simply asking for a refund of the session fee I paid almost a year ago.Desired Settlement: $[redacted] refund

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] about this complaint. She stated she had pneumonia around this time however attempted to refund the customer but the email address did not go through. Company is willing to provide a refund with an updated email address.

Review: I inquired [redacted] Mullins regarding pricing as per her website. The link she sent didn't work. After several emails back and forth, I finally received the pricing. Then I inquired about dates and reservations. I was sent 2 links and was told to pay the reservation fee on one link and once I received receipt, then I was to fill out date request form on the other link. Once again, neither link worked and I had to go back and forth via email to get the issue corrected. I finally was able to access the reservation payment link to [redacted]. I put in my credit card information and never received confirmation that the payment went through. I emailed [redacted] (and [redacted]) requesting verification of payment receipt. I did not proceed with the second step of the reservation process to choose a date from the link provided for 2 reasons (1st, the link didn't work, 2nd, I wanted confirmation that the payment went through). I sent multiple emails without response. I finally sent an email requesting a refund after 4+ days of emailing without response, as I did contact my credit card and found out the payment went through. It wasn't till I asked for a refund did [redacted] finally get back in touch with me and told me to fill out the second form for my date. At that point I had already lost confidence in her and was concerned that if we were having this much trouble with her incorrect/broken links, lack of acknowledgment of payment receipt and lack of communication right in the beginning...then how could we trust she would not continue with the same issues when it came to our actual session, timely editing and proofing and timely receiving of final product. I then read all the previous issues on Revdex.com site and contacted her regarding what I read. She at first tried to tell me there is more than one [redacted] Photography in [redacted] and she thought it was unfair to be confused with her, but then she went on further to admit to having issues with her service and delivery in the past. I again explained this was too large of an investment in time and money to have so many problems right at the start and that we wanted a refund. We never completed the reservation process and she did not confirm receipt of payment until after I requested a refund.Desired Settlement: I want my "reservation fee" refunded due to failure to hold up to her end of the agreement. The reservation process was never fully completed as I did not fill out the second form to hold the date, partially because the link did not work.
