In response to the claim ***, *** *** had her cat, ***, groomed at our facility on February 22, The last time we had groomed *** was October 20, The groomer told *** *** that *** would need to be shaved short due to the mattingThe owner agreed to a "lion cut", which
means everything is shaved but the head and tail.*** *** was very upset when she picked *** upThe groomer had already left for the day so our receptionist tried to explain why she had to be shaved so closeThe mats were tight to the skin over most of her bodyOur receptionist offered her a discounted groom the next time, as they had no problem with grooming the cat.*** *** called the next day and the groomer tried to explain why *** was shaved so close** *** was not understanding and did not seem to be reasonableShe treated my staff quite rudelyI also understand that *** *** proceeded to libel our facility on social media.I do not tolerate clients being rude to my staff and I do not tolerate my staff being rudeWe have denied services to *** *** because of her actions

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
1- I did not even pick up my cat, so how would I have been told all of this information? I was at work and my father had to pick her up and pay for it. 2- The receptionist was absolutely  rude to me when I called which was initially what sparked my fume. So, to say they don’t tolerate rude staff is [redacted] 3- I NEVER received a proposition for a discount...which was why I was so upset because the business did nothing to make my dissatisfaction correct.4- I have taken my cat here between 2014 and 2017 so their records are inaccurate. 5- The groomer made excuses as to why the whiskers were cut6- I did go to social media— again bc the way I was treated/ pricing/ and the fact that no proposition was made to make matters correct. Had their claim that they did offer a discount been made I would have never provided that feedback.7- No threats were made. For a business to deny service because of feedback is completely childish and I have no issue doing another review and mention that as well.8- This business just wants money. I have found a groomer that laughed when I said they. Put my cat to sleep to groom her. She stated my cat was not an issue at all and was not a cat that would ever need put down to groom.9- This place can keep their lies, and their subpar service if that’s what makes they sleep better at night. I have taken my services and money elsewhere to a place that treats my cat amazing, and is honest and professional.
