Review: I purchased a camera from this company online, I never received the camera and every time I called about it, they would tell me that it was on its way to their warehouse and that I would receive it within a couple of weeks from the date called. I called multiple times and months passed by, yet I never did receive the camera. I finally decided to cancel my order, so I would get my money back, well I never did get my money either. I called my bank filed a dispute for the charge and was denied, I called mellodigital again and explained the situation but it seemed like they didn't want to help. Every time I call they transfer me to another department and that department never answers, when I do get a hold of someone they tell me that they are working on it, but they never tell me when I was going to receive my refund. I am a college student and I really need this money back.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my $500.00 back to my account.

Review: I placed an order with Mello Digital on 06/**/13 upon receiving an email promotion with a 30% off code. I order three separate photographic items. On 06/** I emailed requesting an update on the status of the order. They replied that is should be in three weeks later. I asked which item they were waiting and never received a reply. I sent another email on 07/** again asking for an update on my order. I got the same response only this time somewhat encouraging me to cancel the order. Once again, I asked on which item we are waiting. No response. I believe the bottom line is that they do not want to sell me the items at the price I have committed. I think I could ask the status for the next year and get the exact same response. My order number is [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like mello digital to honor the deal they advertised online.

Review: Several months ago, in preparation for a major overseas trip, I purchased a second battery for my Canon EOS Rebel digital camera. I received a phone call that the regular capacity battery was not in stock (although their website indicated that it was), and a salesperson called and told me that the high capacity battery was in stock (for a higher charge). I consented to purchase that one as I was going to be traveling to an area with limited ability to recharge batteries. When the battery arrived, I charged it and put it away. Shortly before leaving on my trip I checked that the battery was completely charged (it was). However, once I needed to use the battery, it did not last for more than one hour (approximately 50 pictures). For comparison, the original battery that came with the camera lasts for many hours, or up to 800 pictures. I assumed the battery had lost its charge and recharged it, with the same result. It is apparent that this battery is defective. I contacted the company when I returned and was told that it was too late to do anything. However, there is no way to test that a battery is working without using it until it discharges -- which is not something I could do until I started my trip. Note that the original order # is [redacted], and I paid $38.99 with shipping.Desired Settlement: I would prefer a full refund but will settle for a replacement (with the understanding that it must not be defective).

Review: My husband purchased a flash for me for Christmas last November the company contacted me and said it was not in stock and offered me a comparable flash at a discount which was a little more expensive but I said it was ok. Upon opening the gift on Christmas the flash wouldn't work with my camera I contacted the company two days later and the gave me the number for the company that makes the flash to assist me to get it to work but they told me they don't make a flash for my camera model, so I contacted Mellodigital again requesting to return and get the original flash I ordered or a refund they told me I would have to wait until after the first of the year after contacting them two times more they sent me a return address label and I returned the flash to them at that time. Feb * I recurred an email stating I would see a refund at the end of the billing statement. I did not receive a refund so first part of march I called and was told I'd have to wait two more weeks to see it, I still didn't receive and again called I was told they had switched credit processors and it would be easier to dispute this with my credit card company, when I attempted to do that they said it was past the 90 day period of allowance so I once again contacted Mellodigital. I was told to be patient they would send my information to the sales department and they would mail me a check. I am now filing thins complaint because I have lost my patience with being told things to make me happy when I call but not following through I am a very busy individual with small children and don't have time I was going to just let it go but I don't want anyone else to get into the situation I was put in where I ended up with no money and no flash. It's not right to tell someone you will refund their money and not do so I understand times are hard the could have even offered me credit to purchase something else from the store it was almost $200.00 that I lost to them.Desired Settlement: I would to have a refund in either check or store credit

Review: I purchased a product from Mello Digital back in Feb and was told several times the product was on its was. I finally got fed up on May [redacted] and the manager there told me he was giving me a refund and hung up on me. To this day June [redacted] I have yet to see the refund, and have now been tools to talk to my bank and dispute it. Well it is now well beyond the dispute time frame so I am not able to dispute the charge. I have told them that and they don't care.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of what I paid immediately. It would be nice to have the camera I purchased but I know that would never happen.

Review: On February **, 2013, we ordered a Nikon D600s camera from Mello Digital. The total cost was $1529. We paid for overnigjt shipping because my husband needed the camera for his wedding photography job. After a few days of non delivery, we called and were told the item was on back order and it would be shipped the next week. To make a long and painful story short, this went on for the last 4 months. We called several times per week and were told the same thing. Once, I called anonymously asking about purchasing a camera when they told me they did not sell cameras. This confirmed my fear that we were being scammed. We finally gave up on the camera and requested a refund on May [redacted], 2013. After a week without a refund, we called back and askedI They said they would reprocess the refund and we would see it in 3 days. It has been a month and still no refund.Desired Settlement: I have read countless negative reviews for this company. There are no positive ones. This company appears to be a scam. They don't actually sell products they advertise but they still string you along. They steal money and don't deliver. This company is beyond just a bad business, it is a scam and they should be investigated and shut down. Please look into this further.

Review: I ordered a Canon 580EX 2 Speedlite Shoe Mount Flash on February **. They said it would take a week to deliver. Its been about half a year now. I've contacted them several times and they told me on numerous occasions that it would come. I'm very patient but this is ridiculous.... Mello Digital has horrible customer service, if they can't deliver then they shouldn't sell it in the first place. I can't even count the amount of times that I have needed this flash add on and it has screwed me over many times. My career as a photographer has been hurt now because of this tremendous delay.Desired Settlement: I want the whole thing free.

Review: I have tried to arrange delivery of the camera accessories ordered over 6 months ago. The company has continued to promise delivery but simply stalls and does not deliver the goods. They attempted a bait and switch for the items ordered and made unsubstantiated claims about the products they switched the order to. Review: I first ordered 3 photography related items from Mellowdigital 01-**-13. On 02-**-13 my [redacted] card was charged $622.13. On 02-**-13 I wrote to ask why I had not received the items. They responded by email on 02-**-13 that they had oversold the items, but would be receiving a new shipment the next week and shipping my order. I did not receive the order and on 03-**-13, I emailed again inquiring about my order. I was emailed back on 03-**-13 that they were shipping that week. I did not receive the items. I emailed back on 04-**-13 and asked for a refund if they could not ship my items that week. They responded back on 04-**-13 that my items were shipping that week. On 05-**-13, I had not received any of the 3 items, so I asked for a refund. On 05-**-13 they sent an email with a refund statement saying they had issued a refund to my [redacted] card and for me to allow 7-14 days for it to process. On 05-**-13 I sent them an email stating that [redacted] had not received a refund to my account. They sent a response on 05-**-13 from Customer Service stating they would contact the billing department about my refund. I started making phone calls in June and they said that I needed to dispute the charges with [redacted] because they had changed credit card processors and that was the only way they could issue a refund. I filed a dispute with my [redacted] card, but they were not able to take the funds back because of the time delay for when the order was placed. They called Mellowdigital for me and were told that a refund had been put through on 07-**-13 and to allow up to 20 days for it to show up. The refund was never issued and [redacted] has had to close the case. I tried to call Mellowdigital several times on 09-**-13 and could not get anyone to answer my call. They have my phone number in their system, because when I've called in the past, they know exactly the order I'm calling about. I sent my last email to them on 09-**-13, stating that if they can't issue a refund to my [redacted] card, please issue me a refund check. I have not received a response back. I regret deeply ever making an order with this company.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund check for the amount of my total order, $622.33.

Review: The company issued a credit of $193.78 via email but the fund never arrived. I was told by one of the sales persons that the company has been sold to another group. The "new" owner only purchased the company name but not its associated liabilities and therefore can no longer issue credit for the refund authorized before the change of ownership.Desired Settlement: All I want was to get my money back as promised by their email authorization. They have ignored all email inquiries and phone calls from my credit card issuing bank.

Review: Ordered Canon 100-400mm telephoto zoom lens in February 2013. Item was listed as being in stock. Merchandise has not been delivered. Several e-mails have been sent and at least two phone calls have been made. Each time I have been told that delivery is delayed but should be forthcoming in 1-2 weeks. The last communication in August resulted in the information that the website had been sold with no money from prior sales being transferred. As far as I am concerned, this business engages in outright fraud and theft and should be closed down.

I would like to receive the purchased merchandise that was promised multiple times or a refund of the money for the no delivered purchase (Canon 100-400mm telephoto zoom camera lens.

Review: An order was placed online with Mellodigital on Nov **, 2012.

Upon review, the company informed that the ordered item was not in stock and hence the order was cancelled on Nov **, 2012.

Few months down the line, on Mar **, I noticed my credit card charged for $224.99. I called up Mellodigital and informed them regarding the issue. They confirmed that it was an error and the amount will be refunded. A few follow up emails and calls were made to get the refund, but so far a refund has not been processed.

Mellodigital has charged me for a product/service that was not provided to me. I have all the emails from them that provides details from them and informing that the charges will be refunded. One of the emails also says that the refund has been processed but it never was credited to my card. I called up my bank ([redacted]) to check and they informed me that there was no refund processed.

I would appreciate if I can get the refund from MelloDigital as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund from the dealer for the amount they have charged.

Review: Ordered a Camera Flash and Battery Grip (order #[redacted]) on 3/*/13. Was told items were back ordered...waited until 4/*/13 and finally canceled the order. Still have not received my refund of $371.61. Contacted mellodigital.com several times, by phone as well as email...just keep getting the "Run-around". Also tried to contact my Credit Card Company to dispute the charges, but they were unable to do anything as 60+ days had passed. Please help.Desired Settlement: I would like the $371.61 they charged my CC refunded to me!

Review: The product was never delivered and a charge was put on the credit card. The company ceased communication and refuses to respond any further.Desired Settlement: I want my money back and this company to be put on notice and known to be deceitful and misleading. The government at some point needs to investigate them.

Review: Ordered a camera flash online from Mellodigital in March 2013. I have gotten continual runaround from this business, several times telling me it would arrive in one week. I have yet to receive the product and now the business is non responsive.Desired Settlement: At this point I would like a refund.
