Review: We called Melron and they came and said they installed a new 10 kw heater pack, treated for mold, and put in a bridge wire. Another contractor came afterwards and said the original 15 kw heater pack the unit came with was still in the unit(confirmed by a phone call to the manufacturer), showed us there is still evidence of mold, and said the bridge wiring actually made it so the outdoor unit would run even if we turned the thermostat to emergency heat. Last could actually serve to damage the outdoor unit! So we paid $900 for nothing AND for Melron doing something to potentially harm our system.Desired Settlement: Credit back

Review: They installed a new furnace in August. Within weeks, it developed a leak. I have called and sent numerous messages asking them to come check. I was promised that I would have someone come today, Oct 25th. It is now 7:35p.m. and no one has come.Desired Settlement: I want someone who is knowledgeable and sober to come repair this.

Review: Melron did an HVAC replacement in my home following a fire in my existing system. I paid for the replacement in full by credit card on the day of service. I filed an insurance claim seeking reimbursement for the cost of the replacement. It took weeks for Melron to provide a simple letter requested by my insurance company to process the claim. They did finally provide it but once I received a check for my insurance proceeds ($5,000) I was told I needed Melron to execute a lien waiver before my mortgagee would countersign the check. I asked Melron to execute and deliver the lien waiver on August 4th. They have yet to do so, and I am unable to cash the check without their doing so. I have followed up (including offering to drive out to their offices) but have not received a response.Desired Settlement: Delivery of requested lien waiver (original signed and notarized)

Review: We have been original customers of Melron since they split from [redacted] Cooling And Heating almost 15 years ago. Despite their erratic reliability we used their services to install two furnaces and an AC unit during this time frame. We paid approximately $3K last July to have a new furnace installed. Repeated calls to their office to arrange a post-installation inspection visit have been unsuccessful. We make appointments; they don't show up.

We were billed $375.20 on invoice #17047 from 2/19/13 for parts/labor we were advised were needed for our fireplace unit. This work was never done. Despite the assurances of owner [redacted] and his staff that we would be issued a refund, we have not seen anything. We have finally decided to terminate them as our HVAC company.Desired Settlement: This company has a huge customer satisfaction problem. We no longer intend to do any business with them. We just want our refund.
