Review: My wife and I both had two IRA s due in February of 2014. They sent me a form asking about the first IRA for both of us. We filled them out and returned them asking for both IRAs due in February to be cashed and checks mailed to us. They did the first one due for both of us. We called about the second ones. They told us to send another order. We sent another order. Nothing. We called and they said send another order. we sent another order asking for ALL outsanding IRAs and accounts to be cashed in and the proceeds to be mailed to us- Nothing!Desired Settlement: We want all proceeds mailed to us immediately for all accounts- 4 IRAs and two share accounts. No penalties to be accessed!

Response:

This complaint has been fully investigated, and it has been determined that it is the result of a good faith misunderstanding between the Credit Union and the Complainants. The Credit Union received paperwork from the Complainants on February [redacted], 2014 requesting that their Share Certificate #51 be redeemed. The Credit Union complied with the request. On February [redacted], the Credit Union received additional correspondence from the Complainants requesting that the same Certificate #51 be redeemed. Apparently the Complainant wished to have a different certificate, #50, be redeemed, but did not submit documentation for this request. In order to resolve this matter, the Credit Union will allow Certificate(s) # 50 to be redeemed without penalty. A response to this effect has been sent to the Complainant along with supporting documentation.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and though I don't fully believe their response, I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
