Review: On or about August [redacted], 2014,I brought my car (2008 NISSAN ALTIMA HYBRIDVIN: [redacted],for a full paint job,body work,and parts replacements.I paid a total of $2,500.00 cash,in advance,on the aforementioned date, for these services. I was with my brother in law,[redacted],who witnessed the event.I felt comfortable paying in full,in cash,without receiving a receipt or documentation,because I had done business this very same way with them,on one previous occasion,in which they had satisfactorily completed and honored the work and services promised. However,on this occasion the services and work done to my car were unsatisfactory,incomplete,and just unacceptable.The front bumper and rear mud flap was never replaced, my back pssngr side dr. is not the correct color.It is now January **,2015, and the work on my car has yet to be completed.Mel's Auto,specifically,[redacted],[redacted],and her husband,[redacted](nickname) have avoided,ignored,and not returned any of my calls since the last time that they worked on my car, in late December, 2014.And largely,it has been this way since the onset, in August,when they initially began work on my car.Between then and now,I had to literally just show up in person,unannounced,due to their lack of communication with me,just to get them to take the car to do some work on it. In total, between August, and now, they have sporadically done work on the car, and only because I would take it upon myself to just go to them, because of their lack of communication. Also,even when I have managed to get them to take my car in for repairs,they never honor dates, and always hold my car for unmanageable, unacceptable, prolonged periods of time, causing me to incur expenses,and inconveniences that I would not otherwise have incurred and experienced: i.e. travel expenses,to and from work on work days,and on off days as well,and inconveniences and difficulties doing everyday tasks,such as picking my son up from school,going to to supermarket for food shopping,going to do laundry,etc.Desired Settlement: I want them to FINALLY finish the work and repairs that they agreed to perform on my car, which I paid in full for, and to be compensated for the monies that I spent for travel, over the weeks of time as they unjustly held my car during these prolonged periods, without actually even working on it, and to be compensated for the substantial amounts of stress that I have endured throughout this entire ordeal.
