Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/01/26) */ Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @ymail.com [redacted] is an angry man he called me times before I got home from finishing his door on 01/15/and opener, he left me messages complaining about some dirt on the outside of the door and a little light coming thru the door, he is very verbally abusive and would cuss and even called another garage door companyI called him back on Monday 01/18/and talked to him and explained to him that as soon as I had the chance to get back up to him I would stop in and look at his doorHe still felt it necessary to call and complain even after I called and talked to himI don't appreciate customers treating me that way and if he doesn't at least call and apologize to me for the way he treated me I wont be going back to his houseI kept all the voicemailsThanks for letting me know about this issue sincerely [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because when Melton Garage finally came to my home and looked at the garage door he stated that all I have to do unscrew the garage door off its bracket and lift it up one more notch and that would solve my problem with opening my screen door. He said that he would fix it for a $dollars. So this man could have fixed my door along but just refused to do it. He called me a *** and walked away. Please do not use Melton Garage Door service located in *** **. Like I stated early he will stand by his work. Read the other compliant on him

This company did not address my issues, I had to cut my screen door to get it to work. I cancelled the check I gave him , then when he showed up to inspect the door I paid him in cash but I did deduct $from the total for my troubles.04/10/Mediation relayed to the consumer that the business stands firm to their first response

I installed a new garage door for the consumer, the track system on the new door was not the same as the old track , this caused the existing screen door to not work as it had with the old trackThe consumer called and wanted me to buy him a new screen door which I refusedI was hired to install a new garage door,which I did and the function of that door worked perfectI was not hired to address any issues with a screen door I did not installI did go and inspect the door to see what options he had but he did not want to try any of them, because I explained it may effect how the new garage door fitsI was left no other options for a solution to his issues regarding the screen doorI agreed to discount his bill 100.00,which he did except, and stated he was satisfied

I installed a garage door for this customer and he called later that evening to let me know that the screen door does not close all the way.? I told him that I do not have anything to do with the screen door.? I told him that that only possible way would be is to move the tracking but that
was not feasible or to remove the screen door or to cut off the part of the screen door that is hitting the tracking for the garage door.? There was nothing I could do with the screen door.? The screen door is not mandatory for the garage.? The old track had been there for years and I installed the new track which may be a little thicker than the old one.? He says he wants me to buy him a new screen door but a new screen door will not be the solution.? This issue has nothing to do with me or my business.? I was there to install a garage door which I did and he was satisfied with my work.? ? I personally have told him and explained this same response to him.? There is nothing more I can do to help
