Meltwater blocked my company from using its services when we tried to cancel our subscriptionA few months later they sent an email claiming that we were past due on our payment despite the fact that we had paid in full and in advanceApparently they automatically signed us up for an additional year of services because we did not cancel days before the contract expiredWe did not receive any other warningsNow I am stuck paying an exorbitant amount of money for a year of services that I don't want or need

After agreeing to give them an additional year to prove they can help us with our PR initiative, they decided to sneak in an automatic renewal into the contract that was signed by someone on my teamIn addition to that they sent the invoice and demanded payment in two weeks with late charges beyond thatNever will I do business with them againVery poor customer service and overall useless product

My complaint was with MovingHelpAssistants.com. I do not know of the Meltwater New US Inc. company noted above. FYI, I emailed the Revdex.com (I expect that email should be somewhere in your system) upon receiving a $19.95 credit on 4/25/14 from Moving Help Assistants. I immediately verified it online on my credit card statement. I had emailed Moving Help Assistants on 4/24/14 with my complaint following the initial charge of $19.95. I was pleasantly surprised that I received a credit after having read the online complaints about the company. My account can be closed. Thank you for your service.

This company signed me up for their newsletters without my consent. I have also clicked their unsubscribe link in their emails, which do not give me the option to automatically unsubscribe. I have emailed the person who signed me up for my account 3 separate times and then continue to ignore my requests to unsubscribe me. This is illegal.

To ensure this contact does not receive further communication from Meltwater, we have removed his email address and phone number...

from our database. Furthermore, we've added his email to a suppression list which will prevent him from receiving any communications. We have put appropriate notations on his account clearly instructing no one from Meltwater to contact his company again.

We are confidant this will stop all future correspondence and apologize for the inconvenience.

I will accept their response at this time. But I will reserve the right to file additional complaints with the Revdex.com or state or federal agencies in the future, if necessary.

Harassment is the only way to describe the sales tactics used by this company. I have explained patiently and politely on many occasions -about every 3 months for more years than I can remember- that I am not interested in Meltwater's products. I have asked them not to call me and to take me off their call list so many times it's ridiculous. They usually wait about 3 months before calling me again and then they call 3 times per day, every day until they speak to me. I see it on my caller ID; they do not leave a message. Their reputation for both their product and sales tactics is negative, and they live up to it every 3 months. From what I've heard from professional peers who are former Meltwater clients, the products do not make it worth the time to put up with their shady sales tactics.
