Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
There was only tree that needed trimmed to keep it off the roof and the valleys clean. He never mentioned anything about trimming 3. To this date I have not replaced any locks and/or knobs in this home. I did ask him to return Re: the irrigation due to the fact some of the bushes and trees still weren't getting waterI've sent you all the invoices of the work that was completed by other companies. Pictures of the roof that were taken 8-28-will be sent via mail. Not one tile was replaced but does show the silicone *** *** applied to some tiles. Maybe the "attitude" I got was out of frustration by his work, certainly wasn't due to drinking as no one in this household consumes alcoholic beverages

First of all thanks for the opportunity to respond to the concerns of a client.  As long time real estate brokers in the [redacted] we strive for exceptional customer service and we take great pride in our service oriented reputation.  We are sorry the complainant is unhappy...

with the licensed handyman service that [redacted] recommended as a courtesy to the client. [redacted] is the owner of a his own handyman business. He is not an employee or associated  in any way with  [redacted]. [redacted] does hire [redacted] to do a minor repairs for our property management clients. He will also handle minor repairs on homes for his other customers and other real estate agencies. He is his own business and we do not have influence over his interaction with our clients after the sale. Some clients choose to utilize his service after our transaction is complete since he is reliable and less expensive then other contractors.  Again, he is licensed with the state as a handyman.
In all the years we have been using [redacted] for repairs we have never had a complaint of this nature. Of course, If we would have received complaints, we would have addressed them immediately since it is a reflection on our business as well when we recommend another business to one of our clients.  After receiving your letter of complaint, I asked [redacted] about the circumstances surrounding this issue. He said to me, in no uncertain terms, that he would not deal with this person again. He had been doing handyman projects for this person after the sale up until a few months ago as she had called him several times to do additional work. The interaction was purely between them and in no way involved our company. He said there were circumstances he did not wish to discuss with me since it was interaction between the complainant and himself.  Upon further questioning he said he knew that he had made the customer angry when he asked her not to continue to call him at home, and that he did not wish to do further work for her.
In summary, the complainant asked her real estate agent, [redacted], who is licensed with our office to recommend someone to do minor repairs as part of her home purchase.  [redacted] recommended [redacted], who was hired to do minor repairs by the complainant.  The complainant subsequently contacted [redacted] to do additional work on two occasions after the initial repair work was completed. This interaction was between the complainant and [redacted] and payment was handled between them.
[redacted] is not in the handyman or home repair business. We do not profit from work [redacted] performs at anytime. We do recommend companies we have done business with in the past with good results, purely as a courtesy.  If the complainant has an issue with work completed by [redacted]'s handyman business, I would formally ask her to redirect her issues to the person she paid to perform the services rendered.
