After receiving my year-end tax and insurance account disclosure statement it stated that I had a surplus of over $1,and after talking with them they said check would be mailed 1st week of NovemberAfter not receiving the check I placed numerous calls and left 2-messages on voice mail, and sent requests on their email support Over a week went by and I received no call backFinally I was able to get thru somehow thru a route other that their support line only to find out they had made an error and I was only to receive $and my payment would be increased by about $It's very disappointing as you plan for the reimbursement and payment amount that they 1st reported

After not receiving the check I placed numerous calls and left 2-3 messages on voice mail, and sent 2 requests on their email support. Over a week went by and I received no call back. Finally I was able to get thru somehow thru a route other that their support line only to find out they had made an error and I was only to receive $334 and my payment would be increased by about $90. It's very disappointing as you plan for the reimbursement and payment amount that they 1st reported.

I have been nothing but dissatisfied with Memberfirst since the beginning of my work with them. First, my officer grossly miscalculate mortgage insurance so 4 days before our closing he informed us our payment would be about $120 more a month than initially thought. Then, he couldn't get his act together so the closing was delayed 2 days. My titlel company said his reason was pathetic and 100% a result of poor planning. My realtor and title company were certain the escrow prepayment was about $1k too high, but memberfirst said no. Turns out my reaItor was right and I got a $1,300 check a year later after escrow analysis proved my realor was right and Memberfirst made another mistake. I thought once the loan was finalized all the problems would be solved. I was wrong. I received an escrow analysis in the mail a few months ago saying my payment was going to drop about $120 a month. Taxes fluctuate a little bit but not that much. So not wanting to get a $1k tax bill in the spring when they realized there was not enough in the escrow, I called them on it. They admitted they left off one of the 2 tax payments due in their calculation, how that happens, I don't know. Then they sent me a revised payment that was about $45 more than my prior year payment. Then, when my payment was deducted from my account, a totally different number was withdrawn. Again, I called them on it and they sent me a third revision on the escrow analysis.

Memberfirst should be called "Memberlast". It's a horrible mortgage company with incompetant people working there. I will never use them again and can't wait until I can get rid of PMI so I can calculate my taxes and insurance on my own. I figure if they only have a static mortage payment to keep track of for the next 2 years, maybe they can manage that. But then again, that may be too difficult for this horrible company.
