 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: This is a blatent lie.  The specificly handed the young lady back her into her hand and left the store. If I pushed anyone in that store or put my hands on them in any manner. I'm sure they would have called the police. I'm sure they have video cameras and I encourage you to request to see them from the day and time in question. Once this accusation is shown to be a lie, I would like this store manager to be fired for lying on me.  If you check [redacted] and other websites that discussed this stores customer service, it is consistently rated a 1 because the people can not rate it a zero. Please request the video tapes from the day in question. Also, their were other customers in the store at that time.  I yelled at the store manager on the phone about his shoddy product and lack of integrity but I never touched anyone in this store.  I would like this incident raised to 'batteries plus bulbs' because they have a dishonest manager running that location.
Regards,

In response to your email about [redacted], I have spoken with she and her husband on multiple occasions trying to resolve this issue. .They initially emailed us after their arrival on 6/25. They had three concerns:1) The refrigerator/ freezer was not cold. (We had actually been contacted by the...

guest leaving the day before, that the freezer did not keep things real cold but that it was otherwise working. We had shared this information with Ms. [redacted] prior to her arrival and told her a repair man would be there on 6/26 to address that issue.)2) There  was no tire swing over the lake.3) There was a dead bug in the lower lever bathroom. Those were the only issues that were brought to our attention. I explained that to the best of our knowledge the refrigerator was working, but not real cold. [redacted]'s husband acknowledged that this was not a big concern and they were fine that it be addressed on 6/26. I stated that to the best of our knowledge we did not advertise a tire swing, but that it had been removed long ago for liability reasons. And I apologized for the dead bug, and I would be happy to have our cleaner come over on the morning of 6/26 and re-clean. ( It should be mentioned that there was no complaint about the cleanliness of the house other than the one dead bug. ) Larry stated that they were uncomfortable staying the night. I offered to pay for their stay in a hotel, have the cleaner and repairman address their other two concerns, and they would return on 6/26. He agreed that that was a fair solution.  We had a repairman in to check on the refrigerator in the early afternoon of 6/26 and he could find nothing wrong. As our property is in the woods, we have routine pest service performed, the most recent this past May. My wife reached out the exterminator who identified the dead bug as a wood roach, not a kitchen roach, which had probably been treated outside but found its way into the house and died.  My wife emailed [redacted] to tell her that home was ready to re-occupy in the afternoon of 6/26. I called Larry, her husband, at around 4 pm to confirm that their issues had been addressed, as per our conversation from the night before. When we spoke, he stated that they would not be returning to the house, he wanted no further discussion, and that he called Trip Advisor, and we would be hearing from them. We have had hundreds of guests stay in this property over the years, with very few complaints or criticisms. In fact, we were there recently and we have had several very satisfied guests over the past few months. I believe we have acted in good faith to accomodate the guests in question. I certainly don't believe that a refrigerator that wasn't actually broken and one dead bug in a bathroom reaches the level of voiding a binding contract. If you have any other concerns about this issue, please contact me, at [redacted]  Thank you.  Ellen [redacted]
