We can not file anyone's tax return without proper signatures. When you sign the IRS efile form and the bank product you are accepting and agree that the information presented is correct. As a taxpayer you choose who prepare your taxes. We prepared the client's taxes more than once. Usually when you return to an establishment you liked something about them. I thank you for entrusting in our establishment and hate that you feel we caused you frustration. Also, we do not charge a separate fee for a state return. Our fees are the same for federal and one state and also a federal and two states. Thanks

This is in response to complaint #[redacted]  We here at Memorial & Nikki's did prepare said clients taxes for the TY 2012.  We had also completed the couples taxes for TY2011.  We follow all IRS guideslines as well as the guidelines for the tax product bank that we use. ...

The reason the couple taxes was filed as Head of Household instead of Married Filing a Joint return was because the wife did not have a valid ID.  One big requirements for efiling a tax return.  TY 2011 she had a valid Ohio state issued ID.  When they came in for TY 2012 she did not have a valid ID.  We told them they would have to pay the tax preparation fees in advance in order for us to file the return.  The was unable to do so and asked if it was another way.  The Married Filing a Joint return and the Head of Household return leaving the wife off had the same refund.  They was advised to wait until they could come up with the funds to file the return.  The couple left the office with the intentions of getting the wife a valid ID and return days later stating that they was unable to get thte funds to get the ID and to file the return as Head Of Household.  The state return was $0.00.  There was no need to pay another preparer to file the return because if it was done correctly the refund would be zero.  They was giving the original filed return as well as the amended return.  Please advise the clients that we take slander of our business name serious and if need be will be more than happy to tell them that they know this is exactly how it was and the reason the return was filed this way.

Im tired of you trying to explain your failure. you also cant file 1040x because it took you 3 tries to get it right. we like a refund of the monies we wasted for  you to "do" our taxes. it was good work and we are are not happy with what you did.
