">I am responding to a complaint filed by *** *** I have been in business foe over years now, and this is the first time I have ever had to withhold money for cleaning purposes To keep costs low for my guests housekeeping is not included in their stay I have simple tasks for them to do such as strip their beds when they leave, wipe up spills, take out the garbage etc each guest receives this list in their welcome letter.When my partner and I arrive to clean on Monday morning we pulled up to garbage all over the driveway Several beer boxes blown all over and each of them had plastic bottles stuffed inside of them I spent minutes cleaning this up After breaking down the boxes all the recycling fit in the recycling bin just fine The garbage was overflowing because the recycling was also put in the garbage That had blown all over as well Once I removed the recycling and placed it in the recycling bin the garbage fit fine I can have up to seventeen guests at a time and never have have had an issue with the garbage before.> When we clean it takes two people two and half hours to clean up after seventeen peopleThis time it took hours and minutes for only people Ms*** did not empty all the garbage nor leave things in their place They moved lights around, unplugged all the lights and removed the shelves in the refrigerator which were shoved under the carpet in the back room All this takes time to put back into place, I pay my assistant $an hour and I also have to pay myself for time spent I should pay myself more than my assistant but to be fair I charged the minimum to cover costs.My partner and I have been doing this for over years and we have the cleaning down to a science It should not take us that long to clean after a group, you know it's bad when the partner says " this is the worst I have ever seen it" The kitchen counters were not cleaned and full of sticky residue and the floors were certainly not scrubbed.I do not feel like I am out off line in any way with the action I have taken I have never had any complaints that I haven't been able to fix I have had repeat customers for years and they have always said how reasonable my place was and impressed how clean it is.Any suggestions my guests have made I have always acted on and made accommodations to them.If you would like to contact my cleaning partner for more information feel free to contact me.In conclusion, I do not feel Ms*** has any ground for complaint, and feel $ was more than fair to cover the extra cost

All rules and notes for cleanup were followedThere were no rules stated for the handling of recyclingIn fact we were told by Ms*** that we should just "put it out with the trash" as she wasn't sure the city "even does anything with recycling." We separated out what we could in a couple of boxesTwo or three boxes, not several as she statesWe were never told to break down any cardboardAny issues related to weather (trash being blown over) are out of our controlWe should not be held responsible for the results of something done by wind in the hours after we left the house
There are no rules or regulations about moving or unplugging lights or moving power cordsWe had issues with at least two power strips and several light bulbs were burnt outWe moved things in order to do our workIf things were moved, they were put back in as close a spot as we rememberedEach workspace was returned the way we found it, including wiping down each table and replacing the cutting mat
The kitchen was swept, tables wiped down and refrigerator shelves WERE NOT movedWe left the kitchen as we found itAll beds were stripped, all garbage bins were emptied
I continue to be baffled by the additional issues Ms*** keeps mentioningWith each point of contact, there are new accusationsI am also concerned about the fact that she waited three weeks to tell me about these issuesI believe that she was waiting for us to roll the deposit over for a future weekend and when we elected not to return, she decided to keep half of the depositThis is why I contacted the Revdex.com with this matter
