I in writing in response to a complaint made on my photography business by a brideThe date of the wedding was May 28, The bride hired me in February, 2015. The total fee was $plus a 2nd photographer for $100. She paid me a down payment of $200. She decided at a late to
have me do her engagement session also *this was not included in the price. We had issues getting together; one time it rained, another time we had rescheduled for I was sick and could not meet her that day *this was in June 2015)She suggested another date and I was busy moving my mother (this had been planned). I suggested other dates, but she could not get her person to do her hair and makeup and that was a must in her opinion. She got mad about that and whined about that. I told her I was sorry we could not get together. I even told her since she was so upset, that I would refund her $deposit and she could find another photographer; however she said no (I wish now I had went ahead an followed through with this offer. This is when I started getting a bad vibe from her.) She had a someone else do her engagement session. As I said, she had not paid for this in advance She emailed me and told me she needed me to sign a form for the church. She needed it weeks in advance and I told her no problem we would meet. She finally contacted me to meet her in late April; early May. She paid me the balance of $200. Everything was fine. The contract for the church stated - NO FLASHES at all were to be used during the ceremony. I could not go any closer to the front than the 4th pew from the front and after the bride came in, I was to move to the back of the church. My assistant was in the main aisle on aisle taking pics as the wedding party entered. There was not room for a 2nd photographer in the aisle. It was a small chapel. I only had room to stand on the other end of the aisle. The chapel was packed to full capacity. It was very dark because of no flash and the bride had the shutters all closed. I opened them but the woman who was monitoring (where we stood) made me close them The bride and I spoke the week of the wedding several times online. She wanted me to arrive at am when she was having her hair and makeup done to start taking pics. She seemed to ignore the fact that the contract was for hours only. I told her that would be fine but I would be leaving hours later..7pmShe had a fit and said NO, we have the sparkler sendoff at 10:30. So she adjusted her times and said to arrive at 2:which we did. The minute we walked in I felt the tension from the bride, her sister and her mother. We were given by all 3....run her, run there, do this, do that. Get a pic of this and that and so on We captured all the images she wanted I told my assistant to take a break and eat. She did. I stood up and ate; never got a mealI did sit down and have a glass of water. I was up and down and so was my assistant This was the most stressful wedding I have ever shot. I have done weddings and NEVER had a complaint. I took pics of the bride and groom dancing, dancing with their parents;etc. I captured all the images she wanted and many more I realized my memory card failed. It recorded all of the pics but the ones past the group pics in the chapel were corrupted. I have tried several programs and those pics are not salvageable. I have never had this happen. I was so upset As I posted pics on my facebook page, the bride and her family loved themI burned over images on a CD (that is also in the contract) She got them and went bezerk and the drama started. She screamed, sent me nasty messages; etc. I told her I do not edit over pictures. That is unheard of. After hearing how upset she was and I do understand, I told her I would send her all of the images (unedited) I put them on a external flash drive and mailed them to her Priority Mail. I tracked the package and know it was receivedShe then started posting nasty, threatening messages for everyone to see on my business page. She then had every one she new post nasty reviews. Her mother then posted a nasty message that I was unprofessional and too old to do this. Needless to say that is I blocked all of these people but that did not erase their nasty remarks. I posted a letter telling my clients what happened and they were shocked This entire FIASCO was my worst nightmare., I would never wish a bride and family like like this on my worst enemy. I was contacted by a family member of the birde they took it out of proportion Thank you, *** ***

I failed to mention; I still have the memory card.? I have tried to recover the lost pics...it was doing fine and then I looked down and had a strange message.? I immediately changed memory cards; but this was not until late in the evening...time for the sendoff.? The pictures were fine up to #1333.? From #- are the ones that I have been able to recover.? I told the bride I would throw it away after I retrieved all the images? (I meant I would not use it again for any other pictures) ? It is corrupted.? If the bride would like the memory card, I will mail to her.? Maybe she can find someone to recover the image? ?

I in writing in response to a complaint made on my photography business by a bride. The date of the wedding was May 28, 2016. The bride hired me in February, 2015.  The total fee was $300 plus a 2nd photographer for $100.  She paid me a down payment of $200.  She decided at a late to...
