On Tuesday January 28,2020, I spoke with Jamal at Memphis Car Center explaining to him that my Nissan Rogue was hard to steer and the dash had PS light for power steering. He asked me to drive the car to him for inspection. Upon inspecting the vehicle, Jamal agreed the truck needed a power steering column. He informed me that he was attempting to locate a used part for the truck and he had a friend at a junkyard. The truck was left at the shop for repairs as Jamal requested. Jamal notified me that the truck was repaired and I picked up the truck on 1/31. Later that evening I informed Jamal that the airbag light was flashing, and the truck was 'sputtering and not pulling off? he asked me to return the truck and he would inspect it. I returned the truck and Jamal informed me that he needed a part for the truck that he failed to remove from the salvaged truck and the truck should be okay. Jamal asked me to give him a few days and he would retrieve the part. A week later I contacted him again as I had not heard from him and he stated he forgot but he was out sick. He explained that he would contact me when he was better. I contacted Jamal three days later. On 2/29, Jamal informed me that he had the part and could repair the truck. My daughter took the truck to the shop but still had issues after Jamal finished which she informed him of, he responded he was rushed and didn't have enough time to properly repair the truck. The power steering is bad again, the truck still sputters, not able to drive, the horn doesn't work, the signal does not turn off automatically, and Jamal is aware of these problems as well as knowing that none of these issues were present prior to his repair. There is also a part laying under the hood, no idea what it is. I last contacted Jamal on 3/2, informing him that I need a refund to have the truck properly repaired and he has not responded to me. I learned that his business owner has been arrested for drug charges. Thank you for your time and help.
