Vehicle will not run and the lot refuses to work with us on solving the issue.We bought a 2007 [redacted] "as is". We were told to bring it back if there were any issues. After owning the vehicle for 1 week and being able to drive it for only 4 days, it will not run. We have been told it has "jumped time" and needs a new engine. This damage was not done in 4 days. The lot refuses to help us, or honor their word of resolving issues. We want the vehicle we just purchased fixed. We bought it to drive it, not look at it in our driveway. We have had it for 1 month now, and not able to use it. We want the vehicle. We want it fixed! Desired SettlementWe want the cost of the new engine and any repairs that coincide with the issue to be repaired at no cost to us, as there is no way this damage was done by us with the short amount of time we have owned it. We understand we bought the vehicle "as is", but surely there is something such as the Lemon Law that can help us settle this matter, and quickly. Business Response I,m so sorry that a problem happen to Ms [redacted] vwechicle. there is no way anybody would have known that the motor was going to jump time. We check out our cars as humanly possible, including compression on the motor along with 27 other checks. We have been in business for three years and have sold over 1000 cars in that time an this is the first complaint about hte quality of our vehicles.This is why we have an "AS IS-NO WARRANTY" on all our vehicles. Mr. [redacted] had the chance to bring a mechanic or take ti to a mechanic. It was his choice to buy the car without getting it checked out first. He knows we only made $360.00 on the sale. I don't like it when somebody tires to blame their bad luck on someone else. If I didn't think it was a good cae, I wouldn't have brought it or sold it. We are very proud of what we do.Mr. [redacted] called and demanded we fix his car. When he was told there was no warranty, he said he would sue.
