I feel so violated as a customer by the sales staff ([redacted]). No return calls, didn't receive tub on date promised, still waiting. BEWARE!!I was referred to this place by the contractor that I hired to remodel my bathroom. On March 24th, 2015 I went in to make my purchase. The salesperson [redacted] had quoted the contractor one price but then charged me a different price when I showed up. [redacted] was not customer friendly, nor was he thorough with the ordering process of my Garden Jacuzzi, he ordered white because he assumed I wanted white (per his words) he didn't ask me, it wasn't until I got home and looked over the invoice that I notice the wrong color. I was promised delivery of my jacuzzi by that Friday which was the 27th but No Later then the following Tuesday 31st. It didn't happen, and I was never contacted to be given an update on the status. So, I continued to call them myself and the more I called the worse [redacted]'s attitude got toward me as a customer with a inoperable bathroom. And to this day April 7th I still yet to receive any service of delivery or explaination of the tub and no returned calls. Today I called to inquire and a guy named [redacted] is answering the phone and giving me excuses why [redacted] can't come to the phone and that He will have [redacted] to call me back. I Pray that people will read this before they do business with this place.. there are other plumbing company's in Memphis to spend your money with other then Memphis Wholesale Plumbing on Goodlett Rd. BEWARE!!! I feel discriminated against as a woman, because on yesterday April 6th [redacted] had sent the contractor a text message with some lousey excuse that there was promblems in the finish, why the tub had not arrived, but still no return call to me as the customer who paid for the product. I am trying to find the Owner/Principal Mr. [redacted] and would like to speak with him concerning my issues. XXX-XXX-XXXX... In the future I will refer people to Ferguson Plumbing, or Lowe's which is where I had anticipated shopping at before the contractor told me to buy from these people.. I am very disappointed with their customer service to me as a woman and a paid in full customer (I really want my money back at this point), and will NEVER shop with them again. I am a local Realtor and have been since 1999 therefore I will spread the word Not to Do Business with this company. PLEASE BUYER BEWARE!!!! Desired SettlementI just want my moneys refunded.. I Don't Trust This Company or the Product..Business Response Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)My concern was not about the valve set, but just as you ([redacted]) took the time to explain to me (your customer) about the benefits and necessity of the valve kit that you suggested. That is my point concerning you (the whirlpool professional) to explain to me and make sure that I understood and was ordering exactly what I needed for my personal household needs. $900. is an substantial amount of money to spend on a long term investment in a tub (I trusted you as the professional that I was getting exactly what I asked for). Which, this tub is too big for my bathroom (when I was told that it was exactly the same as my old one). And in reference to the catalogs they are in dimensional sketches which for me as the customer doesn't actually give me a true look at the tub therefore IWas depending on the tub professional to make it plain for me. I also needed water jets for my back (for my lower back pain) I was told that this tub was exactly like my original, so I was under the impression that it would have those jets when in fact it doesn't (so it's not like my old tub) I am so disappointed. I will not get the full usage that I need from this tub. And it's unsafe for me to climb in and out of because the tub sits up too tall. I am only 4' 10 the tub I have to have a grab bar to get in and out. According to the pictures that were shown to you, this tub is not like my original. And your explanation to me when I told you that it was too tall, was that the style has changed, (after the fact).contradiction from what I was told when I came in to purchase. So, your only concern was to make a sale and not satisfy your customer.I have attached a picture of my original tub as well as the the replacement one. To give a true picture of my concerns. Final Business Response As a wholesale plumbing company we have to rely on the general contractor and the home owner to order the appropriate material needed for the job. This case is no different than the others we deal with on a daily basis. The homeowner and the contractor ordered a whirlpool from a manufactures book which included tubs we had available for them to select from. We took the time to explain to them about the tub they picked out and gave them the dimensions. We also gave them a photo of the tub that they selected. We are not responsible for their choice or for the installation of the product. If the consumer was unhappy with the product that she ordered, she should have mentioned this to her contractor before it was installed.
