was paid in advance to develop and monitor web site. He did not deliver in the time requested when he was paid. Refuse to refund money.
*** was paid but failed to deliver the web site that he agreed to build. A refund was requested for the monitoring portions of the contract and he agreed to refund but failed to do so and has now cut off communication. Instead of working on site as he was paid he was sky diving per web page on January 19. Web site was to be completed by January 6.

Desired Outcome

I am requesting a refund of $1500.00 for web site analysis which he was unable to do because he did not complete web site.

Contact Name and Title: ***
I was paid in advance to develop and monitor the web site. Not only did I deliver the website to one domain but to two domains. In the beginning of the project I advised the client that their was a lot of things that needed to be taken care of on the back end that needed to be handled to avoid issues in the future. We are not in business just to rush through projects just to get paid. We offer results, and take the time needed to get the job done correctly the first time, Client agreed with this process every step of the way.

We did in fact deliver in the time and can provide links to the files for these websites that were indeed built. (If Needed)
My team and I also completed research for marketing along with creating graphics & ads as agreed to by myself & the client.

The client is free to still use the marketing, I can not refund any amount because the time and effort was put into the project, and we cant allow the client to just change his mind after we have completed the work. (Very Unfair)

There is no way to exchange money for online research & time spent to create ads & graphics based off that research.
I delivered the web site that I agreed to build twice to two domains that the client owns.

We can still offer the client the marketing portions as agreed upon originally.

I did post a sky diving picture which was an "advertisement" comparing starting a business to jumping out of an airplane (scary), but this photo was taken prior to me posting it on the web on January 19 and was an "online ad" not a social share for friends. I can provide links to this as well.

We are more than happy to run the marketing for the client, the research, ads, and graphics are already completed and ready to go.

Customer Response • May 05, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
He is being deceptive with his response. He did not build two sites. He only migrated the bad data from the original domain to another so that I could get another firm to build my website. The evidence speaks for itself. Take a look at *** and determine if you or anyone would pay $3800.00 for a site like that. He agreed to make a repayment plan in a correspondence that I have saved by email. Because of his low quality of work and untimely delivery I was forced to get another designer. The correspondence between us shows clearly that we were very patience with him and gave him every chance to deliver. The target date was January 6, 2019. I would like a link to the Sky diving advertisement. He unfriended me so that I can no longer get to the site. Again just take a look a *** for yourself. I told him that being paid in advance was a bad Idea but he insisted that it would allow him to devote full time to the project. I knew that it was a bad business practice but wanted to help him since he was a young *** that appeared to be doing something constructive.

The client is trying to discredit the work that was put in trying to play on words.
When we first met with the client he was trying to get out of a deal with the company that he was already working with now, and we believe they did not let him out of his contract with them and now he is trying to blackball us and save face.
We in did websites on two domains. We entered all of the products that where sent over by client on two *** sheets on the first website and then he asked us to switch the website to a new domain that he owned. This is not a simple process and was not included in the original deal, but we did what was asked by the client to make him happy.
We have no problem doing the work that we say we are going to do, or even going above and beyond what we say that we will do.
But we can't allow the client to agree to an order of work and then simply demand money back simply because he changed his mind.
If we didn't work on anything or create the campaigns it would be easy to refund, but the time was spent and work was done.
The only thing left is to run the campaigns, we have no use for them because them were made for the clients company as agreed to in the beginning.
I don't think the client understands that he would be stealing from us by having us do work and not want to pay for it because he maybe found another option.
It is bad business for the client to try to slander our company when he is not keeping his word by honoring the original deal.
We still want to run the campaigns that we created because they will help the client market his brand and assist it to grow online.
We have never and will never do any kind of bad deceptive business, if we didn't work on two websites for the client why are there two websites with two different logos? (direct med) & *** the first website had a lots of data that had to be dumped, and once we finished client (changed his mind) and asked me to migrate the first website to another domain name, changed logos and branding & hosting install (not an easy process) this also took time. I advised the client of this as we were doing it.*** is not even the website we agreed to work on, and we only agreed to work on the second website to help the client.

The website was set to get updates to enhance the look and search engine optimization over the three month marketing period ie blogs, and marketing promos.
We never agreed to make a repayment plan, the client requested one and we asked him for another option, he responded with a deadline and we told him that we was working on a solution that would be favourable for both of us, It being (another solution) never a refund, the plan was to sell the marketing to someone else in his field but we were unable to do so before we got this email from Revdex.com.
In the past we have done everything asked of us to try to accommodate the client.
At this point we are only willing to stick to the original agreement, no extras.
We cant allow the client to steal our associates time and efforts simply because he changed his mind after the work was done.
Being paid in advance was a good idea for us cause it prevented us from not getting paid after he changed his mind. I advised the client of this before hand and he fully agreed. This is something that happens a lot in our line of business and this is why we requested that the client pay for the services upfront because there is no way to go back and unlearn his business, how it works, learning who his competition is, undo design, marketing research, and online branding/promotional campaigns.
We insisted that it would allow us to devote full time to the project, and we still stand by that, we are not trying to cheat or weasel out of the deal made with client.

If client wants to help a young *** that is doing something constructive, like he said we advise him to keep his word, honor the original deal and allow us to run the campaigns that we did research to built or let us send them to his so his new company so they can post them online to promote and market his business online.
