Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2016/04/20) */
We provided service at ***'s home on September 10, Her windows were in quite poor condition as they had not been maintained for some timeWe pointed out issues with her glass and sealed units and she was well aware of the
problemsWe do this as part of our pre-qualifying process and *** was satisfied and understood that we could not do anything with these pre existing problems
On September 12th, *** sent us an email asking who to contact as there were windows that required a touch upShe also mentioned that the team did a "wonderful job" with the exception of windows that weren't as "sparkling as the others" when the sunlight hit them(This could very well have been due to the broken seals present on her windows), but we came back to satisfy her request on September 18th, *** then made a partial payment of $525.00, without reasonThe total amount owing was $This payment was made online and we tried to track down the remaining payment without any response from the customer
We treat every home owners property with a great deal of respect and we value our reputation above all else*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** We certainly never want to cause any damage to a customers property, and would take immediate action to either fix, replace, or compensate the home owner in some type of way if we ever didIn this case, the damage that you claim was done at your home was never brought to our attention, and only now as we are trying to collect is the client claiming damage, which is now months ago that we did the work
100% customer satisfaction is what we always strive for, and are very sorry to hear that the customer is taking this direction considering we pointed out problems with her windows when we were onsite, and she never told us about anything she was unhappy with except windows which we went back for
We want the customer to feel valued by us, even though they are not treating us fairly in this situationAs such, due to the difficult time they are having with their family, we will not be pursuing the remaining outstanding balance to be paidConsider it our gift to the customer

On September 12th, [redacted] sent us an email asking who to contact as there were 3 windows that required a touch up. She also mentioned that the team did a "wonderful job" with the exception of 3 windows that weren't as "sparkling as the others" when the sunlight hit them. (This could very well have been due to the broken seals present on her windows), but we came back to satisfy her request on September 18th, 2015. [redacted] then made a partial payment of $525.00, without reason. The total amount owing was $879.90. This payment was made online and we tried to track down the remaining payment without any response from the customer.
