Men's Health Boston Reviews (2)

We have spoken with this former patient many times and he has refused to pay his contracted amount owed after his insurance company paidWe offered him discounts and payment plans, but he refused to engage in any of the extraordinary compromises we offeredBy insurance company contract, we can't
legally offer him any further discountsHe acknowledges he received notices from his insurance company after each visit to his owed amount, but never attempted to pay any balanceHe was called at work because that was his primary contact number he placed on his intake paperwork and once he asked us not to call him there, we ceased immediatelyMultiple employees have spent hours discussing his bill and optionsIn fact, he is employed by a local hospital in their insurance billing department and fully understands the workings of his policyHe also has posted very ugly, untrue, and disrespectful posts on review websites about our officeSimply put, he thinks he should not be held responsible for co-pays on his insurance plan and believes taking drastic measures will somehow absolve his debtWe contacted him recently and he continued to argue, even when we reduced his owed amount by 90%He is being an abrasive and difficult person to deal with and is no longer welcome to our practiceHis supervisors at the hospital, which we are a part of, have been notified of his extreme behavior and unwillingness to follow his contracted insurance plan's guidelines

I owed money to Mens Health BostonThey failed to send statements, and later sent a letter to that end, apologizing to those affected by thisThe other issue is that they never tried to collect payments on site, beyond the regular copaymentLastly the amount they billed differed from what I was told I would have to pay as my responsibilityThe copayment collected plus the amount billed, did not match what my Insurance company said I owedTherefore the provider was incorrect with this billI asked numerous times for them to correct the charges, but they never didMy first complaint via Revdex.com was closed due to lack of response, but within days a representative from the practice wrote me at work, harassed me, insulted me, threatened me, and told me never to contact them again or be suedThe problem is that now they sent the incorrect debt amount to a third party debt collectorThe amount they sent is not correctMy statement all along was if they wanted to reduce the amount owed, fine, if they wanted to offer me a deal, fine, or if they were to correct the amount owed, any would sufficeI would pay any of the above, the CORRECT amount, a reduced amount if they were to lazy to research their errorThis needs to be fixedThis debt will be only be paid when correctedI am employed within the health insurance industryI do know my bills and responsibility, they should know that it is their responsibility to bill for what is owed, nothing elseI will fight this debt until I die.Desired outcome: Come up with the correct amount owed, or acknowledge this debt cannot be validatedDoesn't matter
