I am writing to say that I do not accept All Dolled Up's response to me.I am in disagreement with them because I believe 100% that it was advertisementThey were selling a service that was not as advertisedI am attaching a picture of what I purchased from ***, it was advertised as a “keratin treatment.” Before going in their salon, I had called two times to inquire about the serviceI was told both times that is was indeed a keratin treatment and was safe to do on my hairThe day I went in, I had the stylist evaluate my hair as well, and she said it was in good shape and that I would be receiving a keratin treatmentAs she was doing it, I questioned her technique since it was different than other keratin treatments I had received in the past (from other salons)She was surprised I asked anything about it and told me it was “their” way of doing itI followed her directions to not wash for at least hours, and to wash with sulfate free shampooAfter I washed it, I noticed severe dryness, strawlike hair, and sections where hair broke offI went to a local salon to have it checked out and stylists and the owner were shocked at what my hair looked likeThey said they have been doing keratin treatments for years and that looked nothing like a keratin treatmentSo, that made me investigateI called All Dolled Up a few times and was told that it WAS a keratin treatmentI was given the name and number of the product so I called them myselfBy a representative of that company, I was told that it was NOT a keratin treatment at all, it was a straightening system and it did not contain any keratin in the productI called All Dolled Up again and they still stood by their statement from the beginning saying it was a keratin treatment, and they could call it that b/c it had some keratin in itThe owned did offer a conditioning treatment for me but honestly, I was extremely hesitant to trust anything they say and to ever use their products since trust was lostI was very upset because they did not admit their wrongdoing and in the meantime I had to suffer with severe chemical damage all over my headI also had consultations at other salons to look at my hair to see what I can do to help the damageI had to buy conditioning treatments and the best products to help my hairTwo months later, I am still suffering with damaged hairI called *** to complain as wellI want the public to know that this is NOT a keratin treatmentA keratin treatment, when done the right way is safe for hairThey gave me a straightening system which NEVER would have done on my hairI think they know that most women today are not out to buy a Straightening system because of the damage it can doSo, they advertise as a keratin treatment to get customers
I am actually looking into hiring an attorney to investigate this salon and see what can be doneIt is not fair to me and it is not fair to any other woman out there who think they are getting a certain service but being deceived
