I wish I thought to check out reviews before I called them When they came to give me a quote, I was told the job would take to hours with men workingI have an average to small size lot The quote was for $ My lawn needed a good mowing as it was about inches high I had trees and bushes that needed to be cut back, as well as some weeds growing here and there I asked them to pull out some plant so I could new ones They were finished in about an hour I looked everything over and requested more detailed work - the yard still looked messy - not much was picked up in the way of dead leaves (a simple blowing) He did the first couple of things I asked for - but became tense when I told him that I was not satisfied He did not apply either weed killer to what he chopped down or fertilizer to the small lawn areas I had them leave before I was truly happy because I was by myself and was beginning to feel uncomfortable After they left, I noticed that there were piles of dead leaves stuck in to corners of the fences and bush areasThe weeds were not pulled - just chopped The lawn looks nice as do the trees - but neither is worth $ I expected him to stay the - hours he said it would take When I questioned that - he just said that he had been doing this for a long time and knew what he was doing

I wish I had read these reviews before hiring Mendez handyman service or *** ***I wrote out a release of liability and a warranty for them to cut down a small mulberry in my backyard and stump grind itThey quoted me $to cut the tree and take care of the stump and another hundred fifty to cut a few limbs, not branches, off a tree in the front yard for a total of $*** asked to trim a couple bushes since he was already here and left a mess in my yard, used my equipment, and then promised if my stump was not gone (since he left his stump grinder at home) he said if my stump was not gone in months he would come back out with his stump grinder and finish the jobHe left my home with $and he is now refusing to come back to take care of the stump even though he signed the warranty*** is claiming to not remember me and his two helpers became tired and were laying on the lawn rather than raking up leaves and debris and he also ruined a bush right outside my kitchen windowPlease spare yourself some time and frustration and do not hire this so called company*** seems like a very nice person when he is at your home but after he leaves he will not come back to honor what he has promised and he leaves your home in a messShameful to take advantage of elderly, disabled, on fixed incomeI typed him well and trusted himI have before and after pictures of the tree/stump and actual receipt/warranty, which he will not honor

Hired this contractor to cut our trees down in the backyard, the prices were reasonable but you get what you pay for. They never cleaned the back yard from what they cut even though they said they were going to and my rake ended up missing after they left my backyard. When I asked about it I was promised that the backyard would be cleaned up a couple days after they never came back. As for my rake, they said they didn't know about, but would look into it. We are considering going to the contractors board and also suing them in small claims. Not so funny thing is I saw them using at the day they were working on the yard. Just sad he seemed like a good person and we trusted them. Go somewhere else don't be another bad experience.

These guys came to my house to give me a quote and started doing the work on my roof. Then had me purchase something for my roof only to use a tiny bit of it and steal the rest of it. Then they did half the job of cutting and grinding out a tree. Gone yard was a mess and the stump and half the roots were never ground down they also didn't clean the soot out of the gutters, just took a leaf blower and blew them out.
