Review: [redacted] prepared my taxes for 2010 in which I received a refund for my federal taxes. I have since received a letter from the IRS stating that I owe over 4,000 in back taxes and interest. When I went to [redacted]'s office to discuss he said he didn't make a mistake and would be contacting the IRS on my behalf. He told me not to pay and to wait. Since I waited so long I accrued more interest and penalties and finally just paid it. He has not answered any of my emails and there is never anyone there to pick up the phone or anyway to leave a voice mail. He even told a former work colleague that he was going to call the IRS after the tax season was over. I am still waiting and feel that [redacted] shouldn't be allowed to prepare taxes because he isn't qualified to do so. Thanks for your help in this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like him to contact the IRS like he stated that he would and if he messed up my taxes I would like a check for all interest and penalties that I paid because of his incompetence.
