Maison Gardens is sorry for [redacted] 's frustration and we do understand that $100.00 is a large amount of money however when a person applies for an apartment they agree to our holding fee policy. The application states on page 2 that "If this application is not rejected and the apartment... is held in reserve for more than 48 hours ( not including application date) the landlord shall not refund holding fee if the undersigned fails to execute a lease and occupy the apartment." [redacted] signed our application agreeing to this. If [redacted] has further questions regarding the application that she signed she is welcome to contact the Property Manager. Maison Gardens wishes her luck in her home search and would welcome the opportunity to assist her if the need arises in the future.
