when we pulled the car in no abs light was present so we put a new wheel bearing in on the left front of the vehicle. when the job was complete we drove car and no abs...

light was present, customer took vehicle and said nothing about an abs light being on then called back about 2 hours later and said that an abs light had come on so we scheduled the car to come back in after the trip they were taking. when the car came back in we determined that the left front abs sensor had a fault. The customer said it had been replaced not quite a year ago with an after market sensor and not an OE sensor so I called on a price for one and it was around $200. when there is an issue with abs sensors the fault is instant and not hours after work is performed and my suggestion is not to replace with after market but with OE parts on those cars. this is not a fault on my part but someone looking for something for free.
