Tell us why here..There is a lot to unpack here, so let me try and address each ‘complaint’ piece by piece. I hired Claire G[redacted] and Chelsea G[redacted] aka Second Story Inc aka Spitfire Small Business. that was at the time in litigation. They presented to me that they knew the ins and outs of Vancouver and were experts at social media content and experienced business consultants. It was the worst experience with a consultant ever!!   Attached is documentation stating how ‘upset’ he was with our business. Also included are references for us to other businesses based on our performance. **Attachments redacted by Revdex.com staff**   They kept going off track and kept presenting sketches and plans to shut down the bar and remodel and 'rebrand'. I kept saying 'No'! I wanted social media management and PR for whatever fallout might come along after the litigation.  Here is an outline of our responsibilities.  -A clear structuring of employee labor and payment-A comprehensive employee manual for front of house and back of house-A complete plan of Media control and press coverage-A Social media overhaul and restructuring-An interior redesign that is focused on nostalgia and a low bottom line budget-A consult on setting percentages that will pay down debt and turn a profitWe completed all of the above excluding social media as we were never given access to his business accounts. I needed a Bar Manager. They presented one candidate who was hired to do an assessment of the business and was offered the management job but chose to go work at a resort in Alaska. So I promoted a senior employee into the management role and put off remodeling to later in the year once we knew what was going on. This incensed the two women and they abandoned me as a client instead of working through the transition.   Hiring a manager was never part of our contract. We put forth an individual who could help with the transition and also tidy up day to day operations to reign in spending, which she did. She opted not to seek long term employment due to his low salary wages, excess of hours, and no insurance benefits. She found another job almost instantly in Alaska that gave her all of the above.  We have nothing against the hire he chose. Mr. [redacted] is choosing to create conflict where there is none. Our only reservation was that his pick didn’t have any management experience and was not being paid a fair wage for the amount of work being put on her. We chose to end our relationship with Mr. [redacted] based on his business practices with others in the community, treatment of tenants, and past business practices. We completed our contract and opted not to work with him again.   I found out just recently from my commercial tenant, that these two women have been slandering me for the past year and a half and that the defamation was so 'toxic' that the owner of [redacted] had to put a stop to it.   We wish to leave this business out of the complaint as they are a tenant of Mr. [redacted]’s and can be put in a financially compromising position should they come forward to defend our business. We also are currently working with said tenant on other projects and have a positive professional relationship with them.  I was shocked and appalled to find out that private conversations between my business consultants and myself were now common knowledge in the community. Strategy, Tactics, were revealed and disparaged along with character. My hired media consultants conspired to slander me and my business.  Result: Dozens of negative reviews and a loss in sales and hard damages.   We would invite Mr. [redacted] to find the reviews and sales where we are listed by name as the reason people no longer care to spend their money at his businesses. As it stands, Mr. [redacted] has chosen to slander OUR name on a third party site.  They breached client privacy and client confidentiality and turned their unique set of advertised skills against my business and in breach of our contract.   Again, please give evidence of these allegations outside of hearsay and conjecture. We value client privacy and will not participate in a slander tit for tat.  In 40 years of business I have never seen such disregard for a client's privacy. In my opinion these two are vindictive, malicious, know little about business and are NOT business consultants  We wish to have no contact with Mr [redacted] and have this review removed immediately. His claims are outlandish and false. We have records to counter each claim as does he. He is choosing not to provide emails, texts, and documentation because it does not fit his narrative. We however, are happy to. The only vindictive, malicious, and poor business practices exhibited are his own. He has made a name for himself in the community that he does not like and now wishes to shift the blame elsewhere. We are too busy helping other businesses that exhibit strong work ethic and good will in the community to spend time on this negativity. We ended contact with him over a year ago because of this behavior and will not participate in his throwing of insults.
