We originally hired Mentor Windows to install replacement windows in the front of our home. We were so impressed with both the windows and installers. We ended up hiring them for four more projects including a patio door, siding and the rest of the windows in our home. There is no high pressure, just straight forward pricing, quality products and expert installation. It’s very comforting to deal with a small locally owned company that you can trust!

We are quite disappointed. We had a new Patio Door installed. The door itself is not the problem. Unfortunately, problem is with the service we received. The door is not level or square. We contacted Mentor Window with out complaint. The original installer came back and did not agree with us, even though we showed him with a level the discrepancy in the installation. He disagreed, and said he could try to adjust it. We did not feel that would fix the problem, and asked if he could please take it out and re-install it. His response : "Oh no, I'm not doing that. It doesn't need to be taken out and re-installed, because it wouldn't change anything." I am sorry to say we will not use them again or recommend them to anyone. They do not listen to the customer or believe in customer satisfaction.
" They do not listen to the customer or believe in customer satisfaction." You have to love this part of the review because the person that would not listen was *** the customer. We had the entire company over there within 24 hours of him wanting us to look at the patio door. His house is out of square, it's an older home and after our main installer , general manager and owner went over there to address this, we were all told to " get the F out of his house" The door works perfectly and will never be perfectly square. We will not tolerate being talked to that way or bullied by anyone. We are reasonable, kind people, a small family business and this customer was persistent about saying there was nothing wrong with the house or the squareness of the door. We would never do work for this customer again in the future because of the way we were talked to and treated.
I purchased a 10x12 shed from Mentor Windows, owner said it would be 6 weeks for delivery. Installer called two days after purchase and set up delivery and installation in under 6 weeks. Builders were prompt, (7:30 am - complete by 10:30am) and friendly and very neat. I would recommend this company.

I had Mentor Window build a shed for me last year and I was very impressed with the quality and professionalism of the installers. The price was very fair with better quality materials than all others I checked. I was going to write a review then but never got around to doing it. Then, a few weeks ago, they (different crew) installed new windows and a slider in my house. After this install I decided that I had to write a review. The window crew of Chris and Jim were phenomenal. Very professional, courteous, hard working and nice guys to deal with. Their work was tremendous. They explained everything they were doing and I can’t say enough good things about them.
I am extremely impressed with Mentor Window and everyone I dealt with from Steve, the owner, to Matt the window salesman and the two crews for the shed and the windows. Their prices are lower than all others I compared and I cannot be happier. I would highly recommend them.
I usually don’t write reviews but after my extremely pleasant experience with Mentor Window and also, my not so pleasant experiences with other window companies and their quotes, I felt compelled to write about Mentor Window. Thank you Steve, and all of your employees, for TWO jobs very well done. It is hard in this day and age to fine quality customer service but your company is top notch. I have already recommended you to several others!

This company was amazing to work with. Great prices, service, owner and installers. The install was all done in a day and I was shocked at how good they cleaned up after themselves. I will be using them again for siding in the future, don't bother shopping around these guys are the BEST!
We had Mentor Window provide a quote for whole house windows and vinyl siding. We had 3 other places out and they were all places we saw on TV. The salesmen were rude, pushy and umprofessional. Mentor Window had a rep come out and it was such a pleasant experience! We ended up going with them and our home looks like it is a new home. The installers couldn't have been more friendly and professional and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. I have recommended them to everyone I know since then! Amazing company.
