I originally paid for the $7 a month fee for 'Mentorbox' as well as the $89 for the one time fee for the 'Audiobook Nuggets' (incidentally there are only 37 total); the site proceeded to offer me the ONE TIME $20 charge for the 'Entrepreneur Academy' and subsequently $59 for the ONE TIME 'Investment Academy' of which I accepted both. I was surprised when I was charged all of the above again the next month. I contacted Mentorbox and the claimed that No, it's a monthly subscription. I was certain that they offered me one time charges for the EA and IA Products because there's no way I would spend over $1000 a year for brief synopsis of books when for the same amount get 70 or so full audiobooks from Audible*** so to ease my now nagging uncertainty, I offered up the question on the 'Mentorbox Mastermind ***' page of whether this experience was true for anyone else. My post was immediately removed. You'd think if it weren't true that the Host would allow the question to be raised to prove me wrong. So I posted: "To whoever deleted my post, you have thankfully answered my question and verified my suspicions." and was met with this: Your post goes against our Community Standards so only you can see it. I have been blocked. Blocked so as not to reveal the deceptive practices of Mentorbox.
SIMPLY A SCAM BUSINESS! BE AWARE. Good luck getting support to response. I have no clue how they are in business and Consumer Protection Agency have not shut them down. Charged me 5 times of $7 each, $89 and $199 for something I didn't even order. Bottom line, I get RIPOFF for $300 and can't get back!
I saw a video on *** that seemed like a good idea. Kind of like an investment in my future. This guy claimed that what I needed to succeed in business was a mentor and that he could provide services. I agreed to his "mentor box" a once a month shipment of books and such. I got the package like a week afterward. I opened it, went through it. And had no need for its contents. The website said you can cancel through e-mail or phone only. So I left them a message on their voicemail, never got a response. I sent them several e-mails. Still no response. A week has passed since I left my first voicemail for them. So in the end I had to call up my credit card company and they took care of it. Beware this company is fraudulent. Anyone thinking of buying their boxes or anything, I suggest you save your money and don't.
I sent a message to the support MentorBox e-mail Friday and Monday. I have called the number on the site twice and it kept looping back to the start when I pressed three for support. It would not let me leave a message. I left two *** messages on MentorBox. I ordered MentorBox three day trial, MentorBox Enterprise $199, and the audiobooks $89. I did not receive an e-mail to login/register. I even checked my junk mail...I have now been charged $59 for the membership.
BE CAREFUL DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY MENTOR BOX *** OR *** OR ANY OF THEIR PROGRAMS.
If you get their products, you will have the most awful experience of your life.
1. They call you to get an interview with you
2. They ask you a bunch of questions you need to send back to qualify for a program
3. They ask you if you need to have someone with you to authorize an investment
4. They ask you if you want a business opportunity and if you would like to have help
5. As soon as you say yes, they will ask you for all your financials and all the money
you have in savings, debt, credit cards, how is your credit etc.
!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF THAT INFORMATION, IT IS PERSONAL AND THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS THAT WILL USE THAT INFORMATION TO CHARGE YOU THE AMOUNT THEY THINK YOU CAN PAY, IT CAN START FROM $10,000 UP TO $50,000 OR MORE, ACCORDINGLY WITH THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE IN THAT CALL !!!
6. After you send your answers, they call you and go straight to your throat to hang you in debt and ask for the money they already know you can pay. If you said no, they will do everything to convert the no in a yes, and they are good, believe me, experience talk.
7. They would never give you a legal contract of services, they would not send you a refund policy, they would keep charging you more money every single time they can.
8. If you buy it, you are done, you will see they deceived you very promptly and, you will find imposible to get your "investment $$$ back" if... you ever get it back.
9. If you attend their webinars and seminars online or in person, they will do everything to get more money from you all the time. They are selling you all the products of their partners and they get your cell phone number and spam you with products and free stuff that is never free..
10. If you know more people that have been in the same situation, please keep us posted and we can do something to STOP SCAMMERS LIKE THEM
Do not believe in any of their videos and advertisement. They do not owe anything. They do lease everything they show in their videos and they can run and open another dirty business anywhere. The "mansion" in CA is not *** mansion, and certainly is not nice, it is horrible, dirty, bad taste everywhere and it is just like a huge office. I do not think the neighbors like what *** does in that house. The Virginia Farm is not ***, the Rolls Royce and all the cars are not his, everything is a lease and everything is a lie.
If you attend to that "mansion" you will have to wait outside of the house until they open the doors, and the neighbors are not happy with all the people standing in their houses and front yards and they turn on the sprinklers to water you off, it is horrible. What professional business or school program education do that to anyone?
BE CAREFUL-OPEN YOUR EYES AND EARS- DO NOT LET THEM TO DECEIVE YOU TOO!!!
