This customer took his complaint to the Caldwell county sheriff office.they found no merit in it neither should you.yes,I did humbly ask for a draw for gas and truck payment,sometimes life throws curves at you, one has to reach out for help.he said he didn't care!! (I had every intention of finishing the project even with out his signature) until then, I completed what I was working on.2 stories in the air and very dangerous by myself ,mind you.. See attached photos.if he built that whole house? And the work I did was so easy peezie,why did he not do it in just 30min.I have done way bigger jobs and gotten way bigger down checks if I had a problem all I had to do is ask,you know what,they gave it to me! Because they Trust me. I have always completed projects started , until I get the feeling that Iam onot going to get paid at all,which is the case here. He either ran out of money or never intended to pay me in the first place?who doesn't sign a contract that is in his favor? Yes,I had that address for 10yrs. Yes,I have contracts with that address,working on the changes now. Very expensive,no deceit intended. Once every 30 years a customer like this comes along..Sorry,for any inconvenience.. I did Nothing Wrong me and that guy are Even!!!Unless a contract is signed by Both parties,it's just a piece of paper. I am done with all this Fullishness.

I am rejecting this response because:At least he admits that he asked for more money after only putting up one fascia, and then quit working when I denied him. In no way am I responsible for his truck note or gas money, or any other personal expenses, and any such expectation is, at the very best, completely unprofessional.Also, in no way did the sherrifs office say my case had no merit. They referred me to the appropriate avenue to file a small claims case, where I can recover the money I gave him. I never gave him any reason to believe I wouldnt have paid him once the work was done. He simply preferred $300 for hanging up a single fascia to $800 for the whole job, which was to put up a whole roof. I offered to sign the contract, and he said it wasn't necessary. I was unfortunately stupid enough to believe him. The contract with his signature does, however, serve as a receipt for the money I gave him, with his agreement to return it if the job wasn't completed. It was never his option to do a tiny fraction of the work, and keep well over a third of the agreed price for the whole job. Its interesting to note that he in no way denies breaking our agreement and keeping money that he had agreed to return. His only argument is that my signature is not on the contract, as if that qualifies him to renegotiate a deal in whatever way it suits him. He certainly doesn't have a contract saying that I agreed to give him $300 for hanging up a single fascia, which is far better wages than the $800 he agreed to build an entire roof for. This guy was scamming me from the beginning, and shouldn't be able to hide behind the Revdex.com and some slick words in order to keep stealing from consumers.
