Mercedes-Benz of Chandler is not responsible for customer cars wear and tear items that are not covered by warrantyMr*** *** leased a vehicle with miles on it and was fully aware and acknowledged it was a retired service loaner with said milesWith those miles comes wear and tear- it was not represented or sold as a new vehicleit is unfortunate after approximately 14,that the tires needed to be replaced but that is not unusual based on tire composites and driving habitshe also signed a "we owe" document stating that we the dealership did not owe any further items at the time of saleTherefore we will not compensate MrN*** M*** and refund the cost of tires after they have been used for 14,miles.As a final goodwill gesture, we would offer to take care of MrNandkishore Malviya first "A" service ($299 value)as well as the complete detail($value) at Mercedes-Benz of ChandlerSincerly, Mike D***

On 7/23/2016 we leased Ms. N[redacted] a retired service loaner- 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 with 5575 miles on the vehicle. The vehicle was leased as a retired service loaner with the wear and tear of a vehicle with 5575 miles. Prior to the sale the vehicle was certified and safety inspected and...

offered for sale as a retired service loaner. At the time of the inspection the vehicle had a[pproximately 7 mm of tire depth - well within safety standards. We did not offer or Ms. N[redacted] did not request new tires - if she did this would have added to the cost of the transaction. There were no agreements at time of sale to provide tires in the future.Although the car is under manaufacturer warranty for up to four years from the original inservice date and or 50,000 miles, it dos not cover wear items such as tires nor does Mercedes-Benz of Chandler. The tires themselves have a warranty against manufacturer worrkmanship and defects from the tire manufacture. Tire life is solely based on driving habits and the tires make up. It is not unusual for the tires wear anywhere from 12-20k miles based on these elements. Unfortunately Mercedes- Benz of Chandler will not participate in providing new tires for Ms. N[redacted] after being driven on for a combined 13,000 approximate miles.Mercedes-Benz of Chandler would offer Ms. N[redacted] a free complete detail ($299 value) as a goodwill gesture.Sincerly,Mike D[redacted]General Manager

Revdex.com - thank you for following up.I am not interested in taking the offer as it is not fair compensation. It was not me who drove first 5500 miles. I still feel cheated and dealership owes me the money in good faith. lets see what they can do so that my next car is also a benz.

To whom it may concern: On May 5th,  Mercedes- Benz of Chandler (MBC) agreed upon terms to sell Mr. [redacted] a 2007 Mercedes E550 Sedan with 80,675 miles on the vehicle. This vehicle was originally listed on [redacted] auction but taken off prior to auction ending due to the sale to Mr. [redacted]....

It was sold to him after much negotiation and condition explanation at a reduced price from the Auction price. The vehicle was sold AS/IS  with NO other warranty than the AZ Implied Warranty. The vehicle being a 2007 and over 8 yrs. old with 80k mile was outside any Manufacture warranty. Please see the signed BUYERS GUIDE by Mr. [redacted]. (see attachment) In addition to the 30 plus photos online of the vehicle Mr. [redacted] was provided with a video as well as additional pictures. (see attachment) at no time did MBC represent this car other than what it is-  a 8 yr old, 80k vehicle with normal wear and tear. We never represented the car as perfect, nearly new, unblemished, etc. The car was sold and agreed was AS/IS. If at any time Mr. [redacted] would have asked or requested additional work to be done on the vehicle that work would have been added to the negotiated price of the vehicle or a deal would not have been consummated. Mr. [redacted] was made aware of the fog lamp prior to shipping and agreed again to take the vehicle AS/IS.  He also signed no less than 6 times that he was buying the vehicle AS/IS. At any time prior to shipping he could have rescinded the deal. We at MBC go above and beyond to fully disclose the condition of every vehicle we sell no [redacted]er the age or condition to the best of our ability. This is demonstrated as we sent extra phots, video, and a separate disclosure for” Out-of-State Purchasers” ( see attachment) It is once again signed by Mr. [redacted] and states MBC has: 1) Performed a safety inspection to insure its safe mechanical operation and it may have minor cosmetic flaws 2) provide a general assessment of the car and answer all questions on it and its condition, fully accepting the car as such 3) allowed to purchase at a price acceptable that is agreed and commensurate with condition and market value 4) informed that the car does not include any further reconditioning and is accepted as such I have also attached a copy of the “WE OWE”, Purchase Order, and “ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS BETWEEN CUSTOMER AND DEALER” stating the car sold AS/IS – Signed by Mr. [redacted]. In conclusion, I believe Mr. [redacted]  negotiated and agreed to terms on a good vehicle at a good price. He may have unrealistic expectations of what a 8 yr. old/ 80k mile vehicle is. The windshield chips were addressed and repaired, the tire valve covers amount to less than $1 and were never addressed by Mr. [redacted], the interior and fog lamp was addressed and disclosed prior to delivery and accepted by Mr. [redacted]. MBC will not participate in any further reconditioning at this time. Sincerely, [redacted]General ManagerMercedes-Benz of Chandlersmart Center ChandlerSprinter of Chandler###-###-#### (direct)###-###-#### (fax)[redacted]www.mercedesbenzofchandler.comMercedes_Chandler

On May 20, 2014 my husband went to purchase a 2012 Mazda which he had called about the day before and spoke with ** about the car. ** said the car had only one chip on the hood and everything was excellent. My husband drove from Las Vegas today with a car trailer to pick up the car and when he got there the car had rock chips all over it and the windshield was chipped also he was told about how the taxes were to be paid and the sales man lied about that also. My husband told the manager that he wanted them to pay for the fuel and trailer rental since the deal was not happening and they told him no way were they going to do this. I am also filing a complaint with the Revdex.com about the way they lie and do business.

Review: Good Morning, My name is [redacted] and I reside at [redacted]. In 2007 on July 17, I purchased a 2006 ML 350 with 22000 miles from [redacted] in [redacted]. The Car was since serviced at Mercedes Benz of Chandler on a regular basis and all the necessary maintenance and upkeep was done be them. In January of 2013 I took the car into the dealership because it was making a loud sound each time I started the engine, I paid $1200. for repairs that was done to the power steering, I was told by Mr. [redacted] that there were 2 leaks on the engine, the following day I noticed that the sound was still there and I spoke to Mr. [redacted] who asked me to return the vehicle, I did and nothing changes, he told me that I needed a power steering belt but that it was ok to drive the vehicle even with the loud sound. On April 14th 2013, my vehicle started rocking and stalled on me enroute to the airport, I called the dealer and they towed the vehicle to their shop, I paid $560. for diadnoses, I was told that it was the engine cylinder head that was bent and the intake manifold was causing the problems, I was told that each time they were going to look at the car that it would be $300. I was told that it will take $5600 to fix the problem without even given anything in writing, I called the Corporate office and had conversations with [redacted] who offered me $2000 if I were to trade in for a brand new vehicle. I since took the car back from the Dealership and took it to another independent repair. I reveived all my car parts in a box palced on the backseat of my vehicle, MB had all of the parts from my car in a box when they returned it to me, my car was not in the same manner when they towed into their dealership, also my vehicle had body damage of which I pointed out to Mr, [redacted] at the time I retrieved it. I since had to pay for the low mileage engine, a transformer and a new battery for the vehicle, I would like to know if they are going to fix the damage to the body of my vehicle and if they are going to offset some of the cost to the engine since my vehicle has only 84,000 miles on it. The engine to my knowledge shold still be covered under the manufacturer"s warranty. Thanks [redacted]Desired Settlement: see Complaint

Response:

To whom it may concern,

[redacted] brought her 2006 Mercedes-Benz vehicle to us on several occasions for repairs. The first was a power steering problem that was corrected for the $1200 in January. Her power steering control head was malfunctioning. She declined the other recommended repairs of the leaking power steering reservoir. The vehicle left for 3 months and we were contacted by [redacted] stating that her car had stopped running. She opted to have her vehicle towed to us at that point. We put her in a loaner car at our expense. It was found that the engine had internal malfunctions and would require extensive disassembly of the engine to determine the exact failures. She approved a partial teardown of the engine which included removal of valve covers, cylinder leak down check and intake manifold. It was found that part of the intake manifold had failed and fallen into the cylinders. We advised her of our findings and recommended the removal of the cylinder heads to further determine the extent of the damage incurred. She declined further disassemble at this time. It was at this point where over the next 30 days she called Mercedes-Benz and went back and forth about possible purchasing a new vehicle or possibly having Mercedes-Benz offer some assistance towards this repair. We offered on behalf of the dealership, a $2000 discount on parts and labor to assist her with this costly repair if it were performed at our facility. After keeping our loaner car at no expense for approximately 60 days, she declined having her vehicle repaired with us and had the vehicle towed out of our facility. The factory warranty on her engine was 4 years/50,000 miles from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, the vehicles factory warranty had expired by time and mileage(2006 model year with 87,000 miles). As always, we would be more than happy to assist with addressing any damage that may have occurred during our possession. Please have [redacted] contact or Service Director, [redacted], at ###-###-#### and he will arrange to inspect the car personally.

Respectfully,

General Manager

Review: I leased a 2013 GLK250. The issues are the availability and quality/safety with the tires it uses.

This car uses a model of tire that is not generally available on the market. I did not find any tire that matched this one after I contacted many local stores, online stores or warehouses. So far, the only place I could get the replacement tire is their own Mercedes service department.

The second issue is the price. Mercedes service store charges more than $450 USD for each tire, which is significantly more expensive than the top quality tires on the market of similar models.

The third issue is the tire quality. Per online complaints by other consumers and my own experiences, this tire worn out quickly at around 20k miles under normal driving conditions. This gives me little confidence of safety to continue driving this car even after the tires are replaced, because I have no other choice but to replace with the same brand and similar model from Mercedes.

In summary, we have to drive with the only type of tires available from Mercedes with very high cost of use, yet with low confidence of safety and quality. This has to be improved for all consumers driving this car. I have been idling this car on my drive way for two weeks without a legit solution to replace tires.Desired Settlement: Improve tire quality and safety.

Increase tire availability on the market or allow consumers to use other top quality tires on the market.

Reduce cost of use on tire, or provide sort of tire warranty.

Explain the business and supplier sourcing model with this tire - why there is only one source available to consumers which is expensive and low quality?

Regards,

Review: This Mercedes dealership advertised a car for sale on [redacted]. Amongst false claims on [redacted],it stated the vehicle had an existing warranty. I have made tons of purchases on [redacted] and I like the [redacted] buyer protection. However, the sales rep([redacted])contacted me directly through my personal email and assured me that it was ok to deal directly with him and the dealership. The dealership obviously wanted to avoid paying the sales fees to [redacted] but also deprived me of my [redacted] buyer protection.I asked [redacted] - multiple times of any physical damages or mechanical problems with the car. He assured me that the car was spotless and that I would be impressed. I trusted that the car would be inspected and brought to the best condition, since this was a Mercedes Benz dealership. He asked me to wire the money and I took a chance, based on his assurances. After receiving my money and one day before shipping out the car,he told me that one of the fog lamps was cracked. I asked him to fix it,because I agreed to the amount that I paid, based on the assurances that I would not be immediately spending more money at a Mercedes Benz dealership,a car that I just bought from another Benz dealership. When I received the car and inspected it,I found that the windshield was cracked, car smells of fumes - when engine is running,3 of the 4 tires are missing the caps, the passenger airbag is disabled;a torn rubber by the molding on the driver's door, etc. All these issues, plus the fog lamp, will cost me at least $3,000.00 - based on estimates from Mercedes dealerships in Atlanta,Ga.It is quite clear that this dealership never inspected this car prior to advertising. If it did inspect, made assurances that car was almost perfect, which is a lie. I contacted the sales manager - [redacted].Twice,he said he would call me and never did. When he finally did,I realized that he was not honest. This dealership is a disgrace to the Mercedes brand and they will say anything to get one's money. I offered them to refund 50% of costDesired Settlement: This dealership need to cover the cost of repairs
