Your letters were routed to our former owner, causing a delay in my response. This email is in reference to the Customer from Revdex.com Complaint ID: [redacted] We completely empathize with this Customer. She purchased a 200[redacted]z vehicle from another party that either had inferior service work completed prior to her ownership, or she brought it to a disreputable repair business. In any event the vehicle had inferior, incorrect aftermarket parts installed, including pieces that were glued in because they didn’t fit properly. Whoever did this was unqualified at best, or they were trying to cut corners. After an initial diagnosis and an external inspection we identified the need to look much further with specialized tools, inside the engine. Unfortunately, the interior of the engine is damaged as well. The value of the needed repairs will be more than the vehicles worth. The Customer spent nearly two months in our 2017 loaner vehicle while we tried to communicate with her, and identify what needed to be done, and whether she wanted it done. Mind you, our loaner vehicle is 11 model years newer than hers, and she had it in her use for over 2 months. She only spent money with us on diagnosis fees and minor service items, a very small fraction of the $9000 she requested in assistance. The Customer picked up her vehicle from our Service Department in mid-February. She seemed to still have questions afterward. Since we completely empathize with her ordeal and lack of knowledge of automobiles, our Service Manager reached out to her several times to try to help her, without reply.   Please let us know if you have further questions, Thank you
