Review: I found Mercedes Add at [redacted] on 2014 MB GL350 Blutec, I stopped by ( at Sept.25, 2013) , test drove it,paid the $1,000 deposit and half hour later I'v got a call , that deal is cancelled. ( because somebody pre-ordered that truck before, but could not qualify with the bank ). I 'v been promised by selesperson [redacted] and manager [redacted] that they will get similar car.Now after almost a month of playing around I requested to get my money back. I was waiting for 3 days and nothing happened.

Thank you, Mark Zilberg 718-702-2077Desired Settlement: I's like to get my refund right away.

According to our records [redacted] purchased a vehicle from us in May but her purchase did not have a trade in.

Review: We purchased a 2012 Certified pre-owned GLK after test driving it. Took 4 hours to complete purchase and went home in the dark. Next day we realized they didn't give us the car we test drove. Salesman was very nervous/lot of confusion going on/smooth talker going over prices not agreed upon/same color car but more mileage, noticed buttons on the door were missing to adjust seats we adjusted day before and a crack in windshield. In the 3 weeks we had this car we had it all of 3 days due to driving it back and forth for service. First day 1 am flat tire and no jack in trunk. They wanted to order us one! They told us we would be provided with a loaner car then after we needed one they refused due to our car insurance/which they knew at the time of purchase because they copied it! Just scammers. Rude Service Manager tried to tell us we cracked the windshield until we proved to them this was not the car we test drove. They feel you have all the time in the world by providing you food upstairs while they waste your time. Finally we get car back only to have engine light on/brought it back for repairs/rented another car for them to fix it only to get it back and light came back on by the time we got home. At this point we took the car to a reputable dealer and traded it in on 12/2/13.. Had it all of 3 weeks/to date we still haven't received the pro-rated refund check for the other 11 months we paid for the tire package on the car which they pressured us to buy!

I am rejecting this response because: We were asked in December to fax Freehold Mercedes the documentation showing the other dealership paid up the whole loan of the car. After realizing all the bait and switch problems we had with this car they replaced their finance Mgr. with [redacted] and he couldn't locate our file? We did everything we were asked to do and now 4 months has past and they are starting from square 1 asking for the same stuff again. We dealt with Freehold who dealt with [redacted] by selling us their contract. My question is why 2 weeks ago [redacted] told my husband the check was in the mail. Last week it was waiting to be signed and then we were told they received the check from [redacted] but want to make sure it is the correct amount. Why was I inconvenienced if [redacted] could have called [redacted] himself to get the same info (copy) that was sent to them and faxed twice. The other [redacted] was very helpful and did everything they were supposed to do! This Dealership is a scam/check [redacted] on line for all the complaints. I am in desperate need of this $1700 estimated check which they have had for over 4 months now!

Morning,

In response to this email we just recieved.... MB Freehold just recieved the response from the selling dealer for the documentation we requested which was proof that the vehicle was traded. Now that we have this info we will process a request today from the [redacted] company to refund the customers money. They can expect a check back in the next 10 business days.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: We were told over a week ago the check was cut and in the mail. They can't be trusted and before I accept, I would like to know how much the check will be. We only had the coverage for a short period of time, only had use of the car for a couple of weeks due to the tire problems and engine light which they had the car for. This made us have to pay for rental cars twice!

Response:

Afternoon,

[redacted] is absolutely correct... the accounting department mixed up claims on two customers and we thought we sent the check to [redacted] when in fact it was another clients claim money. [redacted] company reimbursement amount was for $936 which [redacted] was not happy with. Mercede Benz of Freehold has agreed to provide an additional $300 for downtime and lack of response for the client bringing the total reimbursement to $1236.00.

Thanks,

Review: I purchased my used certified vehicle from Mercedes Benz of Freehold with the extended warranty. Upon purchase the vehicle was in need of rims being repaired and a few minor scratches on the car being repaired. My sales person Rick was fantastic.I picked the vehicle up and all seemed great with my purchase. So much so we purchased a new vehicle from this same dealership. My experience with the dealership has continued to decline. (Finance tried to delete some warranty without my consent). My vehicle displayed every light on the dash and would not start I brought the vehicle in and within a day was given the vehicle back only to be stuck the following day in Irvingtonuntil late hours in the evening. I brought the car back and as per my request manager would ensure this would not happen again. Last week I could not avoid a object in the road which got lodged into the front bumper and had to be pulled out. Upon auto body inspection (PER INSURANCE COMPANY)my front bumper was previously repaired and the putty (BEIGE)was caked up under the bumper holding it on and missing screws. I contacted MB corporate who told me take it to the dealership and give them a opportunity to make things right with the CERTIFIED vehicle. (lOOK FOR SOMONE THAT I KNEW) I took the vehicle to the dealership and the finance mgr(Billy) was willing to sell/lease me something else I told him I owed too much on this vehicle and I just wanted this situation to be made right. My insurance company will not repair something that has previously been patched up. He says he spoke to a mgr who was in a meeting couldn't speak with me and due to new ownership(Ray c[redacted] )didn't have access to my paperwork to assist me He told me that he would email and copy me on what the dealership could do to assist me. It has been three days I have not seen and heard nothing. I contacted corporate again spoke with Bobby explained what occurred. He apologized and asked to give Billy 3 more days to get back to me.Well nothingDesired Settlement: Mercedes needs to make the necessary repair to my vehicle and not re patch a vehicle that I payed top dollar to be a certified vehicle. I feel that I have been taken advantage of by what should be a reputable car manufacturer. They were not truthful in their selling practice on this vehicle.
