Good afternoon Marilyn,After speaking with the Salesperson Tom C [redacted] and the Sales Manager Jeff F [redacted] , we would like to offer assistance to [redacted] [redacted] purchased a very comprehensive tire and wheel warranty (included in the attachments), to protect his vehicle against any road hazards including a flat tire He purchased the warranty on the delivery date 09-**- Also in the attachment is a picture of the equipment that may be necessary and the "how to" take care of the tire (in the owner's manual) in the event of a flat tire [redacted] specifically requested that Jeff Not call him but, use email instead, because of the numerous calls he ( [redacted] ) receives In the attachment are copies of the emails that Jeff sent to [redacted] .The purchase was consummated more than a year ago and possibly [redacted] forgot that he had the tire and wheel warranty If he brings the vehicle back to Mercedes-Benz of Huntington, we would give [redacted] any assistance he needs to secure a new tire and wheel Thanks very much, William D***, General Manager

I do not care about some device to put air in the tire I want the run flat tires that I was told came with the vehicle . Your own salesman reiterated that my vehicle should have run flat tires on it and it does not . You are suggesting that you will instruct me how to inflate a tire, that is not only insulting, it is completely off topic. [redacted] was provided a kit to inflate a tire in the event of a flat.  There is a "how to" in his service manual which was provided at delivery.  If he would bring the vehicle back to our service department, we will explain how to use the inflation kit.

I have not received any emails whatsoever from ANYONE at the dealer. When I spoke to Mr F[redacted], I told him that I preferred email, that is true. BUT, in both voice messages left for him, I also provided my phone number. No emails and no calls = no interest. Furthermore, while I do, indeed, have comprehensive wheel and tire coverage, how is that going to help me in the middle of the night if I get a flat tire on Route 17 upstate where there is no cell coverage or help for miles? Can you imagine if I still believed they were run flat tires and if I tried to drive on them if they were flat and then I lost control and crashed as a result? I will accept the dealer replacing the tires with run flat. If they chose to use the warranty that I purchased, that's up to them. I will only consider this case resolved when I have the run flat tires installed that I should have had to start with.
