Review: I spoke to J[redacted] (sales consultant) about leasing a Mercedes C300. I told [redacted] I had 9 payments remaining on my current lease and is starting the process to look for a new lease. I told [redacted] I believe I had to many payments left to get out of my current lease but [redacted] said he would be able to get me out with me not paying off the remaining 9 payments (he said they would pay them). I told [redacted] I was looking to be in the $550 a month range and I was not going to pay anything out of pocket (no downpayment, no taxes, and 9 remaining payments). [redacted] said they would pay the 9 remaining payments and the lease would be $550 per month with no money down (sign and drive). I went to other dealerships (Huntington and Smithtown) and they both said they do not know how [redacted] is making the final 9 payments and with me putting nothing down. I called [redacted] and he again said $550 a month and nothing out of pocket and they will pay my 9 remaining payments. I asked [redacted] how he can do this deal and nobody else could and he told me they wanted to sell a certain amount of cars for the month. The other dealerships said be careful and [redacted] would pull a fast one right before you are going to sign and ask for money out of pocket. I made an appointment with [redacted] to have my wife test drive the car and then sign the deal. [redacted] told me to schedule a time so I would not have to wait, which I did and he agreed to but we still waited over two hours to test drive the car. [redacted] had another person test drive the car with my wife and she liked the ride. After the test drive we were going to sign on but [redacted] disappeared and [redacted] (I believe that was his name) told me [redacted] will email me the paper-work. I asked [redacted] do I need to leave a deposit but he said no (I thought this was funny). Three days later [redacted] emailed me and told me he would be sending me the paper-work with everything we agreed upon. About 20 minutes later I got another email from [redacted] and said he made a misstake and I need to come up with approximately $5,100. I then emailed [redacted] and said you told me no money down and you agreed (i must have asked him at least 5 times plus I have it in an email verifying this). [redacted] who was very responsive then stopped emailing me and did not return my call. I then contacted [redacted] (general sales manager) and left him a message but he did not return my call (he eventually returned my call when I contacted Mercedes head quarters). [redacted] told me [redacted] made a mistake and he is sorry. I kept asking [redacted] no money down, 15,000 miles, $550 per month, and they pay my 9 remaining payments and he said yes this is the deal we agreed upon. I do not believe it is right what [redacted] did and wasted my time.Desired Settlement: Honor the agreement [redacted] made with me

Business

Response:

I spoke with [redacted] and explained that we never gave him a contract stating no money down. It was a verbal mistake that was made if anything occurred and we are not obligated to honor verbal commitments. [redacted] misread the quotation that he was presenting to the customer and that is what has happened. I apologized for the error and we did offer lower numbers after the mistake occurred; just not at the same price that he wanted.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Attach you will find that they stated no money down only first month payment and DMW fees. I want them to honor that. I kept asking [redacted] that no money was going to be out down and he said yes no money down. I feel he wasted my time. The dealership also said they offered me a lower deal but only one offer was made after the suppose error was discovered.[Your Answer Here]

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

As stated before, we clearly stated there was an error and we never made a contract that bounded us to this deal. Mistakes happen and we admitted it was a mistake with the quote. There is nothing from this point forward that we are able to do other than what we offered [redacted] as I stated in my previous emails.

Thank You,

General Manager

Review: It started when I cancelled my extended warranty service for the car I bought to them. Took me forever to get info regarding the cancellation. I made it thru there finally with several phone calls. I came there and I was directed to [redacted] of the financial services.(forgot the last name) who helped me to cancel my warranty. That was 1 month ago and up to now I still didn't get my refund and this will be credited to my excisting car loan. I called 2x and left messages and no one neither him calls me back. I also went to the dealership and hoping to speak to him but unffotunatly he is with the client and I can't wait. Again I left my name and info hoping he has an answer for me today but still no response.

Im hoping u can help me with this situation

Thank YouDesired Settlement: I just need a stutus of of the said cancellation and refund to my excisting loan.
